About this deal

Some may argue that its still too expensive, and that they're not great ports, but £20 for three classic games is great value. It was in the clearance section at Smyths in Lincoln, so not sure if national. I also don't know how many are in stock, so could be a bit of a wild goose chase!

Despite what ignorant people say, this collection is much better than the HD collection released back on PS3. There is also a 4k update coming

I loved MGS 1 2 & 3, hammered through them all shortly after each was released.
But, that was 20 odd years ago.
I've tried a couple of times to get into them again but it just feels like the cutscenes and codec calls go on forever now. Didn't mind it so much back then.

You can skip both of those things and still enjoy the gameplay, especially in part 3. In fact, the cutscenes and code calls aren't so bad in that one and the story is so good you don't want to skip anything anyway.

Think this is a much more acceptable price even if this was a massive cash grab. 3rd one is also being remastered so it's questionable as to wether you would want to play this before hand

Receipt?? Showing full price online. If it’s on clearance it would be online too. 147 copies available nationwide. At £20 if it’s legit then it’s a bargain!!! (edited)

As Benfisher1991 said at 1418 (above), he got one and shows a pic of the receipt. I didnt buy it as I already own it,but thought its a great deal for people who are lucky enough to find it!

This isn't even worth 20 for the abysmal quality. Do your research and read reviews of this shameless money grab from Konami before purchasing. This is dropping price rapidly and won't be long before it's at ten.

I think most places are still £40+ for this ps5 version aren't they? And I'd disagree that £20 for 5 games and extras doesn't prove excellent value. It's a way to play classic games on modern consoles, not to mention owning a physical version of them. Yes, they're remastered and pretty identical to the originals, so I don't see how they can be 'abysmal quality', unless the original games were as well.

I was there about 10am this morning, they are on the display that faces the main bank of tills. I already own it so didn't check how many were in stock,sorry!

The price at Smyths has jumped from £34.99 (not including the clearance price found in Lincoln) to £47.99 and even Argos has jumped up from £40.99 yesterday to £49.99
