Sorry to duplicate a comment I left on another post, but word...

Word of advice. I ordered a recent realme phone deal from amazon Italy. If you get a OTP code, open the package before you give it to the driver. This is my "phone" that got delivered last week. I ran after the driver, he phoned his boss and said he'd take it back and sort it. I took a photo of it, then gave it to him.

I have sent about 10 emails / live chats to Amazon Italy now and they refuse to help as I can't submit a photo with the product I received, and a piece of paper with my name and date on. Obviously my name is on the package, but with no date they won't help me. Amazon UK refuse to help, even though obviously it was switched in the UK as the greetings card is in English.
Have now submitted an online crime report and will go to my credit card.

Yeah seen that, nightmare, this is amazon EU on Amazon UK, so you deal with Amazon UK for this one, which will be a lot easier than Italy

Bought this arrived Saturday. GSM arena shows no NFC but It does have NFC. This version has 4gb ram and you can expand it up to 3gb more with the dynamic RAM expansion. I mention this as Amazon description says

"[Up to 11GB Dynamic RAM] The realme narzo 50 is equipped with advanced dynamic RAM expansion (DRE) technology, which allows the 6GB memory to expand up to 5GB to ensure extremely smooth gaming operation."

The extra 5gb DRE is only for the 6gb 128gb version

Nice, thanks. Would you recommend this over the Realme 9i for similar money?

I ordered that but got sent a transformers toy because some cheeky person switched it int he Amazon warehouse. Amazon not interested in sending me a refund so going to my credit card now.

What is a Mediatek Helio G96 processor like?

I am totally confused as I thought Mediatek processors were call Dimensity processors, with a number after.

    dimensity is 5G generally

The G96 is pretty decent, performs better than the snapdragon 680 equivalent from what I have read

For £20 more this seems a better deal than the Redmi 10 2022 4gb/64gb posted around the same time? Was looking for a phone for a 10YO around this price. Birthday is next week so I need to pull the trigger soon. (edited)

    What does Narzo mean?

Typo... after the wfh Realme product manager indulged some narCo :))

    More seriously (or maybe not!)

It’s not a real word that has a definition. As per Realme website, Narzo is an acronym where ‘N’ stands for “Next-Level Camera,” ‘A’ for “A Class Processor,” ‘R’ for “Remarkable Battery,” ‘Z’ for “Zenith of Design,” and ‘O’ for “Outstanding Display.” These qualities or features that Narzo stands for will be reflected on the Narzo
