I’d much rather get a good high end 4k TV than an 8k one at this time. There’s barely any/no 8k content to watch, so why not wait until there is and 8k TVs are inevitably cheaper and better?
Unfortunately, this deal has expired 2 October 2022.

sorted by- Please don’t buy from Samsung direct their warranty is non existent, look at trustpilot
- This is an 8k TV for just over a grand?!?! What a time to be alive! How much 8k content is available to make this TV worthwhile?
- It’s a good deal, I will say I had the q700a 65” from Samsung in March and after three replacement panels they agreed to return and give a refund. Went with a S95B 65” with 5 year warranty.
- Still waiting on my s22 ultra ..
- 8K TV. As useful as a chocolate teapot. By the time there is anything like enough 8K content out there to justify having one, 8K sets will be twice as good and half the price.
- Damn, for a moment I thought that was £1099 with the code and trade-in would get it even cheaper. Shame this price is after trade-in as well. I'd say not quite as good as the previous deal with S22 Ultra as well for a few hundred more but a pretty decent deal still. Is that deal still active for the S22?
- I'd probably look at qd qled
- 65" has £500 off and £500 trade in, nice!
- Returning:
”You will only be refunded the transaction value of the new monitor. The monitor we collected cannot be returned, as it has been recycled. The trade-up discount you receive is an incentive to recycle, and to purchase a new Samsung monitor; it is not a trade-in value for the recycled monitor.“TBF that does make sense. The offer would be open to exploitation otherwise. You could nip to the charity shop and pick up a TV for £25, trade it in against a new TV at Samsung.com for up to £600, then return the TV to Samsung.com and pocket up to £575 profit. - Buy from Samsung at your peril. I bought direct and was sent a used/refurbished TV and not a new one. Customer service is awful. They promise one thing and do another. Hours have been wasted trying to resolve things with them. The TV has long gone back but I'm still waiting for a refund.
- That one is better than lg c2 oled ?No way
