Not on the tablet itself - it's a (supposedly) 0% loan to pay for it. And the sim is free if you go for the 100mb one - so any %-age increase would still be £0?

Actually - expanding on OP's comment - it's an interest free loan, so you can pay it off upfront, or pay a few months, and then clear the cost without additional penalty.

On the other hand, buying the same tablet direct from Samsung is currently £189 without sim, so this is a good deal, but if it was me, I'd pay it off within the first year. (edited)

The Tab a9+ is good for updates until late 2027 - as for bog standard a9, who knows, but it would be nice to get similar.

Why would you make a call from the tablet when you have your phone, that is what i do not get. The main thing you would want is data and 100mb just not enough. As i said its an interesting gimmick to get people to buy.
I personally would get the Wi-Fi model save £60 and tether, tbh you are not going to be off WiFi that often to warrent needing a sim card.

In this case, the sim is effectively free - at least at first. You can use other sims, but as I mentioned in the thread, you can use piggybank data to roll over to it if you have other sims with sky.

Surprised! You get unlimited calls and unlimited texts.
Peace of mind when connecting to customer services of banks, utility services etc where they keep you on hold for hours.

On a tablet ?
You only will end up tethering from your mobile so you won't actually need the sim.
Nice gimmick by Sky to entice people to buy.

Thank goodness for that. Save us from repeated uninformed comments from some who frankly didn't understand the benefits of this deal. Duly expired now
