The Samyang AF 35mm F1.4 FE II is designed for use on Sony’s full-frame mirrorless cameras. Decent price drop if you’re in the market for a fixed focal lens with great low light performance.

The addition of a Focus Hold button on the side provides users with the flexibility to assign its function. Also, a Custom Switch enables the manual focus ring to control the aperture. Additionally, improvements have been made to the autofocus system, and the barrel is now weather-sealed.

Samyang advancements in autofocus technology for video recording, reducing vibration and noise levels are improved compared to its predecessor. This new motor implementation has enabled a slight decrease in the minimum focus distance to 29cm, achieving a magnification of 0.19x.
