Had this model for about a year and it is pretty good for cleaning windows. Just as good as the Karcher my mum has. Highly recommend.

Used for a while to remove condensation from windows then wasn't needed during the warmer months.
Tried to use it again recently but it wouldn't turn on, just blue light flashing.
Opened it up to discover water had damaged the circuit board

Did you use it vertically or horizontally as well? Did you leave water in the tank? Water wapour can go into electronics and corrode.

Can be used on a worktop but can only be used upright!

Honestly thought this said “work laptop” and thought to myself “how dirty is your screen getting?” Haha

If you have an older car without a fancy heated screen, these are great for getting the condensation from your window. Massive time saver at 2 in the morning.

i find the reusable dehumidifier bags really help. Or cat litter in socks. Saves you time from faffing about everytime you get in (edited)

Yeah these are great for getting condensation off the inside of windows

Used one of these for a full year then one day it stopped charging.

Got a new replacement again under warranty.

Keep you're receipts you can get a new one within the 2 year warranty as many times as you need.

I've had two of these, and they both died on me within a few weeks (refused to charge/operate). Water seemed to get into the battery compartment. If you want this to last you'll have to stick to vertical motion (not going sideways or at angles, as the vacuum action did not like that all).

My two would leave a puddle under them if left with water in the tank. Screwfix themselve were great as refunded/exchanged no q's asked.

Having had a karcher,, that lasted 3yrs, so I'll go back to that (that could easily go sideways, diagonally and occasionally upside down to suck up water, without dying).

To be fair the instructions do say that it should only be used vertically

Don’t buy this. Check reviews on Screwfix most recent. The circuit board gets wet and stops working. (edited)

Bought one last year for 19.99 and its just stopped working. Good doing 90% of your window! Leaks when tilting to get the bottom of the window near the sills. Crap design

I have one of these, really helps against mold now I have to have the heating off all year round due to the sudden increase of energy prices.

So you got a graphic card for £1500, steam deck sitting in your cupboard, bought iphone for £380, you ordered Fererro Rocher for £11.50 but you can’t afford to have the heating on? (edited)

Thanks, worth a punt. Couldn't bring myself to pay Karcher prices.

Any mass produced cheap electricals are hit and miss. Just the way it is.
Everyone wants a Mercedes but doesn't want to pay for it.
    jazzyb88's avatar
Lol Mercedes itself isn't even a pinnacle of quality

I had to return mine, as it only lasted a few months. Good while it lasted, though, as others have said above. There was no problem, returning it to Screwfix - the lady on the counter recommended Karcher!

Having bought one of these when my karcher broke I can't recommend at all. All it appeared to do was take the water off my window then pee it all over my floor. I may have been unlucky, but you are better off waiting for a discounted karcher. Additionally it only worked when at specific angles unlike the karcher, that I use on everything.

Not great this. I bought one last time they were this price.
    northbank1886's avatar
Agreed, bought one and it died after less than a year. Replaced with basic karcher and the difference is huge.

Karcher is able to vac horizontally which although doesn't seem like a big deal but getting into smaller windows or corners is now so easy.
  17. turbo_c's avatar
Looks exactly like a Karcher, wonder if they make them for screwfix (edited)

Thankyou just what I was after

Are these devices actually good for cleaning windows, as well as removing condensation?
    lcarpenter87's avatar
It doesn't clean windows itself -> it removes water from a surface. So if you typically struggle with smears / residue / not having a perfect finish because there's always a streak left on windows or mirrors, then you'd find the device useful.

I have the Karcher wv2, bought off a deal on here. Direct from the manufacturer. Got a walk in shower, with a huge flat glass shower screen. If this one is any good. It's a game changer.

I bought one of these and it gave up the ghost after a handful of uses. Didn't get used while I was having a bathroom refurb and then it refused to work. It was good while it lasted.
  23. lee.morganRJM's avatar
I switched from this Titan to a Karcher, mine was noisy and didn't last 8 months , the Karcher is alot quieter and going strong after 16 months
  24. AlphaFox's avatar
Rather save your 10% app order for a more expensive purchase. Not worth spending it to save £2. Heat
  25. Sir_MawT's avatar
Thank op. I bought this. I had a Karcher v2 that became noisy and then stopped charging. It appears the water got to the battery compartment and got rusty.

I guess both products have similar issues. Time will tell how long the Titan one will last. Obviously, i will take extra care this time
  26. zonda1989's avatar
Thanks, took a punt on this. 2 year warranty anyway
  27. dannymccann's avatar
This works fine, I've not used a Karcher so can't compare. Mine works fine diagonally, sideways, horizontal. I haven't tried upside down, don't think it's powerful enough to attempt. My tank has split in 2,I need to take it back really and swap it.

For me the head is too wide so it's difficult to fit in tighter spaces, would've preferred 2 different sized heads. I only use it for window condensation and shower walls/screen, the cleaning part is unused and in the box
  28. shalton's avatar
Shame it's not as good as a karcher. I use mine upside down, sideways and it doesn't leak out. I would rather pay more for something which works.
  29. swarnford's avatar
Bargain against rip off Karcher (edited)
    shalton's avatar
Is it? It might be cheap, but if it's useless what's the point buying it?
  30. ColonelBlemmington's avatar
For this price, just for doing condensation a few months or a year it’s an absolute steal. If you’re a pro window cleaner, probably not for you.
  31. m1lz's avatar
Thanks OP - picked this up last night and did a great job of sucking up the condensation on the walls.

    Hope this lasts!!
  32. Nat.Tho's avatar
The screw fix website states can be used upright olny
  33. ColonelBlemmington's avatar
This is my second one of these and I gotta say, its been made so much better than a couple years ago. Hoping this one lasts and they learned from some of the older problems.
  34. masterwai1's avatar
Anyone can compare this to the Karcher one? Better, worse or the same.
