I've been using the Flex graphene stuff from TW for a year or so and, while the beading/protection/gloss etc is great, it's an absolute pain in the ass to use with high spots and smears on my near-black car. Needs so much going over again with the damp cloth then buffing with a completely dry one multiple times usually.

Is this something that would be considered a replacement for it?

This will still smear if over-applied. They say on the bottle to go over it with a misting of the product on a microfibre to remove the smears.

These definitely aren't the easiest to apply but I still think they're worth it.

How is this compared to Auto Glym Aqua Wax? I have used that for years and very happy with how it l easy it is to apply and the results.

Very different, one being a wax and the other a sealant

The sealant will be more durable but some people prefer the look of a wax on their car depending on the colour.

You could technically use both with the Sealant providing the base protection and a wax for a look you might want and quick top up of protection.

Thanks, fantastic stuff. As Lee said, I spray on the car whilst still wet, before drying and watching all the water just bead off

Same price at Halfords so will pop in today to pick another one up.

Cheers ordered one for pickup with a few other bits I’ve noticed Halfords is cheaper than euro car parts quite often now since they acquired gsf strangely
    Thanks OP good find

Anyone know how this compares to meguiars hybrid ceramic wax spray?

I'm guessing for best results it would be good to get someone to do a proper polish/wax and use this to maintain after a quick wash?
    danmancity's avatar
Polish yes, not AutoGlym SRP though because of the fillers, would have to be a proper machine polish with pure abrasives for the best results from this.

And definitely do not apply this over a wax, this will be far more durable so if anything do it the other way round, but really you wouldn't need to wax over this. (edited)

I've used this. For the price its decent. I usually apply whilst the car is still wet

i use it as a drying agent, really good stuff and does not smear as bad as their graphene stuff.

For me No1, I know it is sealant but, but is much easy to applying rather than any ceramic quick detailer (autoglym ceramic spray or geyon ceramic detailer). Best result after properly cleaning and minimum remove chemicals decontamination (de-iron + tar remover). No leaving streaks on my black Volvo, but this is a huge benefit. (edited)

Could I add this to my pressure washer mixer?
