I've stood on mine plenty of times - I really wouldn't worry about it holding some weight

They have other variations etc, I just bought the white one in the end which cost me a bit more but I really needed white!

I even ran it through TCB for a laugh and it tracked and gave me £5.12 pending, although pushing my luck I feel
The crossbars on the corner portion are entirely for show and i accidentally kicked them and sheared the bolt holding them in off (whoops) but its still going strong.

I have it (or a variant) atm literally typing on it right now and it's the bees knees but I am captain vasagle, I've vasagle'd my whole room, I have this desk, large chest of drawers, small chest of drawers, bookshelf, and 2 sets of wall shelves, they all match and look absolutely banging. I even have a coat rack in the hall which doesn't match because I bought the wrong colour but is still fantastic.
It’s great as a laptop desk. But not a desktop desk, with larger monitors.
