Quite simply one of the best things I have ever bought.....yes it really cleans and brings the carpet,sofa etc back to clean ...easy to use clean etc ,even has a clean the hose option .works with any carpet cleaning solution....I used mine to clean all the carpets in the house,yes a bit of work but far cheaper than buying a large machine
