Is it pure sine wave? Hah.
    CreepyZander's avatar
Sine waves refers to the waveform of the electricity produced. If you're running sensitive devices such as laptops or games consoles, you'll want to invest in pure sine wave... If you're running fridges or microwaves, modified sine waves will suffice.

This is good, but check the rating of the things you may want to charge.
Eg, this will be good for laptops, portable devices and smaller batteries eg drill

If you have a device that draws more9 than 800w on startup, such as a drill, power tools, hair drier etc, it won't be powerful enough.

A compatible lithium battery generator is much more expensive than this, but is silent so better for camping

LiFePO4 battery (generators) with pure sine wave mains are far better than fossil fuel generators these days for camping, campers and caravaning.

Agree those lifepo4 battery power stations are the way forward.
There's nothing like a lovely quiet weekend away on a campsite, then some plank gets one of these petrol Genny's out of the car boot and has it running all day so his kids can play on their playstation.
    Unfortunately it does happen (edited)

Mines self charging. Saves me a fortune on petrol. EV is the future. (edited)

Oh tempting. Any clue on a scale from 1-10 how much this'll annoy my neighbours?

9 unless they're part of the travelling community

    Says this in description:
Produces a clean sine wave for sensitive electronics
    Isn't this good enough?

    Clean != pure

Meh, thought it was a Panasonic Q.

Realistically if I was camping , what could I use this for ? Genuinely interested.

Apart from annoying your fellow campers this Genny has no benefit that a Lifepo4 power pack / solar generator could not provide, remember cooking and boiling water is done by gas or BBq.
Charging phones and laptops and running tv's again will be fine with a power pack.

Does anyone know how long the 3 liter tank will run for at full capacity? (edited)

Will depend on your load but this is in the reviews:

Will it run on E10 fuel?
    ra11's avatar
