Key Features

4163268_1.jpg

Unstoppably immersive: Quantum Dot Display Technology enables a slim panel design and delivers a superior colour performance with a higher peak luminance and greater colour gamut range vs WOLED (White OLED). The monitor features an extensive cinema-grade colour coverage of DCI-P3 99.3% across a wide viewing angle, and colours are accurate out of the box with a factory calibration of Delta E less than 2.Expect incredibly realistic visuals for gameplay that draws you in deeper thanks to 1000 nits peak brightness, infinite contrast ratio and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification.

Lag-free gameplay :AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro Technology and VESA® AdaptiveSync Display certification lets you experience ultra-low latency gameplay for tear-free gaming every time, and offers support for HDR-capable games.Expect smooth gameplay and view fast-moving graphics with incredible clarity for quicker in-game reactions thanks to an industry-fastest 0.1 ms GtG (Gray to Gray) response time and up to 165 Hz (native) high refresh rate.

Innovative, iconic design :The unique Legend 2.0 Premium design is the perfect blend of stunning form and enhanced functionality. In addition to its sleek QD-OLED curved 1800R panel, the AW3423DWF monitor features improved cable management, 360° ventilation for better heat dissipation and a new centralised On-Screen Display (OSD) joystick to make adjusting your settings easier. Customizable AlienFX lighting on the logo and screen size number on the back of the monitor enhances gaming ambiance.

For critical creating: For content creators and game developers who require precise colour-critical work, the new Creator Mode feature was designed for you. This OSD menu option allows you the flexibility to choose between the native (DCI-P3) and the sRGB colour space, depending on your work needs, and the ability to adjust the gamma settings. The Picture-In-Picture (PIP) and Picture-By-Picture (PBP) feature lets you view two PC sources simultaneously for next-level multi-tasking.

Quality + comfort :The Alienware 34 Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor is engineered to avoid burn-in caused by items appearing onscreen for long periods of time. Additionally, you'll receive a 3-year service coverage for further quality assurance. And with ComfortView Plus, you can game longer, thanks to an always on, built-in low-blue light screen technology that reduces blue light emissions without impacting colour accuracy.

Optimise your gameplay:
A revamped OSD layout with centralised joystick allows for easy navigation of the monitor’s settings and features.
Among these features is the all-new AlienVision—four custom hardware-based overlays designed to enhance your visual experience in real-time based on actual gameplay.

Night Vision: Helps increase visibility by improving both clarity and contrast during dark scenes in games.

Clear Vision: Enhances sharpness and clarity by removing obstructive elements like smoke, haze or mist.

Chroma Vision: Applies a heatmap to your game based on a thermal palette.

Crosshair: Displays a crosshair that assists the in-game aiming by being "always visible", making it easier to hit your target every time.

Do these suffer with burn in ? I do a lot of work with premiere pro etc so would have a lot of static UI elements on the screen for hours at a time.

Already had one replaced due to burn-in. You get an open box replacement.

Try uk.alienwarearena.com/ucf…-uk for a 10% code in place of the DAILYMAIL8MON code, add the 5% newsletter code, brings it down to £674.59

I was able to stack a 10% Alienware monitor discount, 5% newsletter discount and 20% Dell accessories discount to bring the total price for the AW3423DWF and a Dual Charge Dock to £754

I paid with AMEX so will get £100 off there, plus ~£50 cashback via TopCashback. I plan to sell the dock on eBay for £100 so all-in the price for the monitor should be about £500!

Very nice monitor, I was deciding between this and a 42 lg c2 and ultimately went for the lg becasue of better game console use but if going pc only I think I would have gone with the alientware.

4/august it says on dell's website. You can get an alternative from alienware arena that's even better (10% rather than 8%), brings it down to £675 with the newsletter 5% code.

There's an Amex offer that takes £100 off if spending over £750. I was thinking you could do the 5% code + pay by Amex to get for approx £650, but annoyingly, if you use the newsletter code it takes it to £749.54 so right below the threshold!

It has 4k downscaling too from what I've read - I think you need to use the new console mode. Same as the Samsung Odyssey G7 has. You can use Chromecast ultra for 4k input for amazing quality video. (edited)

Have ordered to replace a GIGABYTE G34WQC IPS LCD Ultrawide. The Gigabyte is great, especially for the money, but the light bleed on dark scenes really hurts after being used to gaming on an OLED TV for consoles.

Hoping to be impressed by this!

As someone who went from the AW3420DW 34" IPS to the AW3423DW, I think you'll be very happy with it. Just make sure to hide your taskbar and ideally set it to a darker theme as mine's a bit burnt in even having done that (edited)

Can someone please point me in the right direction.Thanks.

I'm waiting for the Chinese to come out with their own versions to drive the market price down like they did with LCD, LED, QLED, MiniLED, and OLED TVs. OLED monitors next please.

Hisense, TCL, Xiaomi, Haier, SkyWorth, get on it!

Maybe a stupid question, but what would this be like for a Xbox series X or ps5? Can't work out if it's hdmi 2.1 compatible.

More research it's only hdmi 2.0 computable. See around the 11min mark of this video.

I think that muse be something like 1, 5 or 10% of screen at that brightness. Definitely won't be anymore than that as oleds are quite dimm usually. Still good even if covering only 5-10% of screen

I had to sign out of my current account with dell for the link to the Newsletter to work and signed up using a new email, I got the code signed back into my normal account and used both that and the Alienware arena code to get it to £674.99. Quidco tracked at £64.77.

Decided to pull the trigger on this in the end; got this monitor + the AW620 mouse for £757, but purchased with Amex so £657. Also used Topcashback and tracked with £66.16 cashback at the moment, so basically less than £600 for the bundle. Hopefully the cashback ends up going through, says non approved voucher codes aren't permitted but I've done something similar with Dell before and they still paid out so fingers crossed
