Would this be a good option for a gaming PC? Doesn't seem to have DRAM which others have recommended elsewhere.

If you want DRAM get the SN850 but for a gaming drive the p3 plus is a great choice. also because it operates at a lower temperature thermals wont be a concern.

It's a good price. I personally would avoid any QLC drive, but the P3 Plus does a fantastic job of hiding the drawbacks of QLC unless it's quite full. But when it is quite full and the cache runs out, write speeds are abhorrent. Less than spinning disk would net you.

Got the 4tb for my ps5 and a heating. Thanks OP. I was tempted to get this when it was onsale in Germany. A little patience and I ended up with a Heatsink for almost the same price.

Not great, DRAM-less QLC NAND. Bottom of the barrel.
PS5 owners might consider it a good deal, but PC/laptop owners have better options.

If you want a 1TB drive, this is only £1 but is TLC NAND and has DRAM cache so better performance and endurance -

Yes, they are gen3, but you don't lose much in the way of sequential performance (if any at all if you consider the P3 Plus takes a nosedive once the SLC cache is full).

No cheap TLC options for 4TB...yet. (edited)

Need help i just get my memory connect to xbox sx have error with say its to slow need connected to min usb3.0 i connected to pc and get max read speed 461mb/s read 459write all connected in box ORICO M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter Tool-Free, USB C 3.2 Gen 2 10Gbps NVME, 5Gbps NGFF SATA PCIe M-Key(B+M Key) was on hud before. The adapter slows down the read and write speed, if you connect it directly to the computer you will get faster speeds. If you have a Xbox series X, your best option is to buy a Xbox sx compatible SSD.
