Only just bought mine and not used yet so can't comment personally. But my dad bought a couple last time these were on sale at Lidl, and has used them a good few times and says they are good and haven't broken/failed yet.

As a cabin case being moved about yourself, i.e. not being manhandled by baggage staff and chucked in the hold, they are probably fine.

2.8kg is not "extra lightweight" as per Lidl description

A great many so-called budget airlines restrict such cases as these, to 10kg. Meaning coming up to 33% of your allowance given is taken up with simply the case itself. That's before even plopping a pair of socks in or what have you.

Still don’t underage why Lidl continue to have two separate apps

Take it you activate code and then just go to a shop and re if they have them in stock?

    Looks decent for that price

Yeah, once you have the Lidl plus app installed you activate the coupon on the app. Then when you go to the checkout, you scan the app and it automatically applies the coupon and takes off the 20% from your total.

Bought the silver one earlier, should be fine for work travel on trains etc. Like the 2 rubber handles as I often prefer to carry rather than wheel.

Bought small and medium. Excellent for what they are. Lightweight, durable. My Samsonite isn’t of any real improvement. 20% across the entire travel range is great.

How would the warranty work if say, you lost a wheel after 11 months? Go back to the store you bought it from?
And as a 3 year warranty, if damaged after 2 years? Would you have to deal with the manufacturer?
And how painless would the exchange/refund be, with an obvious broken wheel or split in the case?

If I buy more than one, would it give me 20% off every item or is the voucher just valid for a single item? Thanks

I think its off the total amount of qualifying items (Top Move Travel range). But the coupon can only be used once per account/app, as mine has now disappeared. So if you want more than one case/size of case, best to get them in one transaction.

Saw these instore today... They seem decent for the price.
Wasn't a fan of the cushioned rubber handles though... comfortable, but likely not very long-lasting (especially in hot climates). The wheels also had softish rubber that I *guess* would wear quickly. (edited)
