Can you take glass baby bottles in hand luggage?

Hi all, flying with a 6 month old tomorrow and was wondering if I'm allowed to take glass feeding bottles in our hand luggage.
Does anyone know?

Id be careful because they throw your luggage around at airports and it’s probably to risky.
Could you not use plastic ones just for the holidays

Common sense would say ditch the breakable glass and go with the less breakable plastic for the sake of a flight
