Key info and how to redeem:

3) If you already registered with tastecard please go to the manage subscription section of your app homepage and add your unique code.     Isn't taste card pretty similar to meerkat meals nowadays?

    It pretty much is but there’s a few extra restaurants on the taste card. Meerkat is always free if you’d prefer that. Just get a quote and you’ll be given a reference number. Enter this when asked and that’s a year for free, never actually bought anything from the meerkat site. (edited)

    Have used it for cinema tickets. Does save you fare bit of money on those. I haven't really spent any money on tastecard so I did save some money. Are there any other similar cheaper options other than Merkat 241 Tue Wed which really doesn't work for me.

    Went for this trial last year. Forgot to cancel the renewal..was charged £40..

    Forced to use as they dont refund, bank protection also denied. Now no local restaurant accept it apart from known franchises like zizzi/prezzo that too sun-thu!

    Anyone know if you have to put in card details? Remember I signed up for a trial one time with tastecard and it was a lot of effort to cancel it

    I don't think it would if it is free. Does have PayPal option for payment as well in case it needs some kind of payment authorisation

    Just to add I signed up for this morning and did not need to provide any billing or payment details (not even paypal), all I needed was the code from O2 and my subscription shows as ending in Oct as per the 3 free months.

    We get this free from work. Used to use it for pizza express but not used in it in years. Very limited choice

    I know in the old days the restaurants didn't get anything back, just the advertising. A local Indian quickly scrapped their offers as it often meant making virtually nothing on a table, and that it was only really viable if you had high margins.

    Can this be used on offers as well. For example this week we have Pappa Johns so if they are running a 50% off on pizzas can you then apply this offer ? (edited)

    It can be done online. Just need your membership number. You can also cancel PayPal to be double sure or use a virtual card and cancel before trial is done.

    Just signed up via Priority and membership only includes "pizza delivery, restaurants" - no cinema tickets or other offer.
    I only signed up for cinema tickets. Don't need dining out discounts 😞 Oh well, at least no payment info provided so no risk of being charged for forgetting about another membership I won't use.
