I thought it seemed a decent price given the hotel alone with breakfast for 3 nights is around £460 to £500 at booking.com, return flights to nice for 2 people with checked baggage would cost £233, and the return helicopter transfers would cost £666 for 2 people.

Columbus Monte Carlo

The Columbus is centrally located just minutes from Monte Carlo. This chic hotel has designer guest rooms and provides a good level of service.

Formerly owned by F1 driver David Coulthard, and with an exclusive and laid-back atmosphere, the Columbus is a friendly hotel. The attentive staff provide a bespoke service for each guest. The designer guest rooms overlook the Princess Grace rose garden, Mediterranean Sea, mountain and swimming pool.

The Columbus is situated in Fontvieille, the business and residential area of Monaco, close to a helipad. The hotel offers free WiFi and a complimentary shuttle service within Monaco which must be booked in advance. The hotel is just five minutes by public bus and approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Monte-Carlo. Nice Airport is 30 kilometres away and is conveniently connected with the Airport Express bus which stops a 5-10 minutes’ walk away from the front of the hotel.
