Not even a true slim as the die is the same size so power consumption is exactly the same. Not worth it.

Is the slim version really worth the wait? As I’m wanting to buy a PS5 now?Well depends, it's cosiderably smaller(can look even smaller with DBrand 3rd party covers), it has about 175GB more ssd storage than the current ps5, it has an additional usb port on the front and it will come out, hopefully, before christmas here in the UK, as we all know it comes out this month in the USA. I mean, you waited 3 years, just wait a bit longer.
I thought the phat models were all gone by this point, where is the slim, i need that smaller unit to fit into my tv cabinet.

Will the standard PS5 price plummet, once Slim is released, you would naturally think so, to get rid of old stockIt's not the slim version as in previous console generations. It's a straight up replacement which is a bit smaller. Sony are not calling it the slim version. (edited)

Getting rid of old stock before the slim is out. But at this price and the new call of duty it's a must buyYup I was gonna hold off and get the slim but seeing this price I had to get it. Will sell COD code as not a fan and that should get around £50

I know what will happen - the first year I'm truly apathetic about the new COD and going to give it a miss, and it will be the best one ever. Who am I kidding? I'll stick to DMZ.
The beta was tragic, just like most other CoD games in recent times. The hit reg is intentionally poor to punish better players to make those on WiFi with a controller feel better about themselves.
This same bundle seems to be available at numerous stores for this price. Do you think Amazon will follow suit? And do you think it will be reduced any further on Black Friday?This is a Sony promotion so yes it will be similar price everywhere. The FC24 bundle had an introductory price £419 until it released when it went way up, the same thing will likely happen with this bundle. BF will likely be a repeat of the previous £399 PS5 + free selected game offers (edited)

Good price - MW3 being at least £50 (discounted) means a new PS5 for £350 which is a potential £100 saving over the 'slim'Unless there's a "slim" bundle for £479.99 inc MW3 which is a bad "deal" at this point.- Really thought it would be the slim as this same bundle with the slim is out in 10th in the US apparentlySony stated the slimmer console will be available from November in the US, and the following months in other countries

Wish they'd stop trying to sell these overpriced bundles. All i want is a decently priced base console i can choose my own games thank youIt's a Sony promoted bundle, which is a free game and a reduction of £75/80 off the price of the Disc console.
If you don't want the game, you can buy the PS5 Disc console for £480 instead.
Tempting although not enough to part with the cash, thinking of holding out for a uk slim, I’m also not too bothered about a disc version so holding out for the Sony announcement (edited)
Having COD as part of the bundle only devalues it, IGN reviewed the single player/ story mode and gave it a 4 out of 10 enough said
95+% of the COD fanbase isn't playing it for the campaign though.- Is the digital version cross gen?

I've logged in, paid via Paypal, the money has been taken from my bank, but I've had no confirmation email, there's no order number on my Shopto account and there's nothing on Paypal either.
I've tried their help desk but they're only available 9-5.
