Looks good value, £100 cheaper than it was yesterday on Costco and £90 cheaper than it has previously been posted on here for.

Introducing the Hisense DHGE904 Dryer, with 16 Programmes you will be able to breeze through all your laundry effortlessly. With a 9KG capacity this is perfect for large households. Offering better protection for your clothes, this model uses heat pump technology to constantly recycle hot air, saving you both energy and money. With an A++ energy rating, this dryer is efficient and uses a lower temperature to dry the laundry, in turn being kinder and gentler on the load.

Twin Flow Technology
Thanks to this bi-directional air distribution system, the air is moved in different directions inside the drum, making sure that even the largest of items are evenly dried and less creased.

I have one of these, had one for about 9 months now, it’s really cheap on electric consumption, mine is in the kitchen so always above 15 degrees. This is probably one of the best cost saving purchases I’ve made as our dryer is on almost every day. I can’t rate it high enough

What's the deal with these? Do you need to empty a water reservoir like in a dehumidifier?
    Borat's avatar
Yes the drawer above fills up with water and you empty it out when full.

This or the AEG 7000 for a little more ???

I have seen one of these at costco and they have the proper filter where the heat exchanger is unlike the Samsung dryers so you shouldn’t have a issue with the heat exchanger clogging up.

Yup. I like the air filter at the heat exchanger

This machine is relatively good IMHO

Just a tad noisy but it's ok

My Hisense washer died after a year (bearings went) and my heat pump dryer went just outside the 2 year warranty. I won't be buying any more Hisense laundry kit.

My hisense washing machine is still working fine. Been over a year now to add some perspective. Mine uses an inverter motor though so it should last longer and also comes with a 5 year warranty. I did factor that in when buying. I think you get one with a long warranty for peace of mind or you get a good brand if warranty is shorter

Looks like a good deal. A few questions. Can it be plumbed in? Do you think it will operate ok in a garage. It's usually about 10c in there. Sometimes less if it's really really cold outside

Thank you for posting. I’ve just ordered it. However, I can’t seem to find anything relating to the 5 year warranty shown in the image. Please advise where this was listed. Thanks in advance.

I didn't post that image, think the mods changed it. As far as I know it's a 2 year warranty with Hisense with this, as Costco own warranty only offer 2 years also. Will try and upload the original image I posted this morning (edited)

Hisense appliances don't have the best reviews. Going to have to wait for something better.

I have a hisense washing machine and it is fine. Yes it doesn't have the bells and whistles but it does the job it is supposed to do and feels well built. For me I can tell the difference in build quality between a really cheap brand and a mid end brand but not so much between mid end and high end brand. I'm not sure high end brands are worth the premium
