Meet Pixel 8. The helpful phone engineered by Google, with Google AI, an amazing camera, powerful security and a long-lasting battery.

▪️Every moment, even better than you remember it.

The fully upgraded Pixel 8 camera uses Google AI to help you create memorable photos and videos, day or night.

Incredible videos on every take.
The Pixel Camera records smooth videos with stunning resolution and clear audio, even in crowded, dimly lit places.

Get really close from far away.
The Super Res Zoom on the Pixel Camera lets you get super sharp close-ups without an extra telephoto lens.

▪️Edit photos and videos. Just like that.

With the help of Google AI, you can remove distractions, add custom edits, and more with just a few taps.

Group pics, perfected.
Did someone blink or look away? Pixel's Best take combines similar photos into one fantastic picture.

Reimagine your photos. Directly on your phone.
Use Magic Editor in Google Photos to add custom edits and studio-quality enhancements to any photo. Improve lighting and background, move a subject and more, with just a few taps.

Video sounds even better.
Audio Magic Eraser uses Google AI to reduce distracting sounds like cars and wind, so that you can hear the ones that you want.

▪️Save time and get more done.

Built with Google AI, Pixel 8 makes it even easier to screen calls, connect in new languages, and more.

Translate on the spot.
With Live Translate, you can interpret face-to-face conversations in 49 languages in real time, transcribe messages, and translate signs.

Goodbye, spam calls.
With Call Screen, Google Assistant can now detect and filter even more spam calls. For others, it tells you who's calling and why before you pick up.

Skip the hold music.
If you're put on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line and let you know when customer support is ready to talk.

Speed through call menus.
With Direct My Call, Google Assistant displays menu options on your screen to get you to the right department quicker.

Never miss a word.
Clear Calling enhances your caller's voice while eliminating noise from crowds or wind.

▪️Google AI makes your favourite apps even better.

Do more using your voice.
Just say 'Hey Google' to stay in touch, manage tasks, get answers and more. Write messages twice as fast with your voice. And get helpful info at the right time.

Explore before you go.
With Immersive View, Google Maps now gives you a rich, detailed preview of your destination or your route to help you plan ahead.

Simply put I maximised (or abused) the Google Store offer on Black Friday:

I upgraded to a 2TB Google One plan for 10% store credit on purchases and then bought two Pixel 8s, trading in a cheap iPhone 11 & 12 for the crazy trade-in value.

I then bought a third Pixel 8 using the £350+ store credit I had accrued, combined with a cheap 12 Mini for trade-in.

For each order I had a unique 10% discount code and Quidco/TCB tracked. For my third order (the one where I used the accrued store credit) Google shipped me two phones in the same parcel, so in total I spent £1112 for four handsets.

Does anyone know the guarantee on them?
    BerserkPotato's avatar
    Just a year
  4. PurpleRain21's avatar
Looks like no one is buying these pixels
    KingOfCaledonia's avatar
    Disagree, I've bought 12 already
  5. Leatherbake's avatar
To me personally, this is what the RRP should have been for this phone on release day
    Happydayz's avatar
Most companies are copying Apple's fraudulent business practices, let's hope the bubble bursts soon.
  6. The2Time's avatar
And people were panicking the student codes might get cancelled for abuse. lol

Be giving these away with the Daily mail soon.

I have owned the 6 pro and 7 pro and love them personally wouldn’t touch a pixel until I knew that the screen bump issue is no more than an isolated incident (bath). Looks like though it’s across the board sadly
    Skinflapp's avatar
    This made my brain hurt!
  8. durhamdurham2017's avatar
    why is it so cheap?
    deathsoul's avatar
Because Pixels suck sadly. Got the benchmark scores of a 2020 phone.
  9. AlexLFC_'s avatar
Wouldn't buy another pixel after getting the 7 last year. Battery is terrible already.
    chris3912's avatar
I bought the Pixel 7 Pro last year and the experience for me was just dreadful - glitchy awful phone. I've reverted back to S21 Ultra no regrets.
  10. p3108's avatar
Was hoping the student code would stack on top but they've been too diligent to allow this potential glitch. Nobody like a glitch spoiler EE, poor form.
    bagand96's avatar
To be fair they've allowed everyone who's not a student to be buying them all week
  11. Pazuzu's avatar
These locked to the EE network?
    Skinflapp's avatar
    No phones are locked anymore.
  12. TypicalAsianFindingDeals's avatar
I bought the Pixel 8 during the free Buds promo and I'm quite disappointed with it. Mainly because of the atrocious battery life
    Evouk's avatar
I'm the opposite. I've had no issues with battery life at all. Tbh it's getting better after every charge

Does anyone have a Contact number** for web sales security team; EE? I sent my documents but taking ages to get back?
    Customer services are useless
    BerserkPotato's avatar
By web sales security, could you elaborate a little bit.

    Pro deals?
    DealTron's avatar
    Plus extra trade-in and cashback
  15. alex252's avatar
Trade in value is pity. For P30 Pro, they giving 55 whereas other places it's atleast 150 quid.
    marccee4's avatar
Price match with Currys. Currys are giving £209 for a P30 pro (when traded towards Pixel

  18. BaelinTheFisherman's avatar
Shame that 270 code doesn't work on this price, only discounts 70
  19. MacPhisto's avatar
Shame no decent deals on monthly contract with EE. Was offered their best price of £32pm a few weeks back as an existing customer.
    wilburscoville9191's avatar
They are extortionate really compared to the competition, even with friends and family discounts. I've just ordered a 1p SIM and will go the hands-free route for P8P when a decent refurb deal turns up. (edited)

    DCollector's avatar
    Yes
  23. chorizotuna's avatar
Do Pixels still have that crappy screen with rainbow effect?
    Lexaua's avatar
no, but it has yellow tint to it, White is no longer white. all Pixels do, it's super noticeable if you come off Samsung phone
  24. KayJay89's avatar
If you have a complete savings account, that will give you a 10% cash back on EE
  25. fahed2000's avatar

  26. AAUUKK's avatar
Just be careful, when something is purchased from EE physical store is NOT included by 14 days money back guarantee including sim only.
  27. cfaboy's avatar
Possible to get curry’s to match for 499, and still do the trade in for 125 back? (Trading in an old £5 Nokia etc?
    zxy's avatar
Now that would be a nice stack - can anyone confirm?
  28. scooooo's avatar
if anyone has a totum or SB code for the ee store would be greatly appreciated please - tryna buy the 256GB obsidian
  29. greenlump's avatar
Currys price matched this via webchat. I hoped to take some ewaste, ahem valuable technology, to reduce the price by at least £125. Unfortunately all my tech didn't qualify for trade in when I went in store
  30. moneybanks14's avatar
Has anyone got a contact number for the EE store, not the EE/BT site where you need an account.

I'm having a tough task of getting a replacement for the Mrs. The phone is unusable.

It seems to be email only. Called into an EE franchise store and they can't help.
