    I think it stems from the comics. The colour scale went from Raph (lightest), Mikey, Leo & Don (darkest). If you played Turtles in Time on the SNES, there was an option to set the graphics to "comic" mode which duplicated this colouring. Not sure which comic this was, as the original ones were black & white and the covers had all the turtles the same colours with red bandanas (remember the cover of the NES game), and the Archie comics (or TMHT Adventures as it was known in the UK) had them all the same colour.

    Wish I'd scanned. Nearly bought them today for 8.99 but talked myself out of it. But would've defo bought for 4.99. Hadn't changed shelf label price in my local... which isn't really that local unfortunately or I'd be heading back.

    That's the movie adaptation ones. We need a reboot of the 90s films using the same costumes. The recent films are utter turd

    I have just got my 4 year old playing with my original early 90s figures, nice to see them being reissued.

    The shell storage Turtles were originally released in the early 90's*. These are a reissue of that specific line.

    There's a slight variation on the art on the packaging and the weapons/accessories don't have to be cut out of a singularly cast plastic piece but otherwise they're a faithful recreation of the original toys they're based on.

    * Edit. (edited)

    Look great, is it just random which stores have them though? As can't see my local doing them tbh.

    Both my aldis have them in stock. Would have thought all stores will have a certain amount.

    Look pretty bang on the figures I had brought back from America one Christmas for me in the early 90d bad minor colour tonalities

    Back in the day I remember having a version that did a backwards somersault and landed perfectly. If they brought those back I’d be all over it

    Great deal. These are a perfect replica of the original storage-themed series of the Turtles action figures, which came out in 1991. I hated the look of them as a child so never nagged my parents for them, although I did have (and still have!) most of the others until I grew out of them in around 1993.

    very close to the originals. Not a fan of the storage shells though but it doesn't matter as I'll keep them in their boxes! I'd like to see Splinter Shredder bebob and rocksteady !

    Are there many in stock? I checked my local store and they had none whatsoever. I see scalpers are flogging them at ridiculous prices

    Blackburn Ewood and Glasgow Govan both has loads last weekend when I was in.

    Can't speak for any other branches.

    The price wasn't reduced in my local store so it must be store dependent. Got the whole set and there was one more whole set left

    Has anyone seen the likes of Splinter, Shredder or the foot soldiers going in any stores?
