Thanks, yeah, the Lego games are a mixed bag. Some of the Lego Games are brilliant, and others can be a bitt rubbish.. My favorite was the Lego Movie game. (that one was awesome... Had a good story, and was often quite funny in alot of places, aswell also being alot of fun to play). But the Lego Worlds game was awful. (the one where they tried to make it like a dinosaur version of minecraft) I hated that game, even though I like minecraft. They just did a rubbish job of the game to the point that neither lego fans nor minecraft fans would find it any good. (I think they just made it quickly to milk the trend of those types of games at the time). Both Lego Batman 2 and Lego Batman 3 on the WiiU were really good though! (had a good amount of humor in them also) .They made batman all sarcastic (like he was the brunt of the jokes rather than the hero). Loved the way they did that. Marvel Superheroes 1 on the WiiU was pretty boring though. (same mechanics and everything, but the story just wasn't all that exciting) They just threw in all the well known characters, and made a pretty mediocre game out of it. (which is a shame really, because the characters were good, they just lacked having much entertainment value, and i got bored of it quick) So that was quite disappointing, as I really wanted to like it. But if you're saying that they made a better job of Marvel Superheroes 2 for the Switch, might just be what was needed. I had originally avoided it just because of my experience of Superheroes 1. But being as it's so cheap on this deal, it's no real risk to try it anyway anymore so I might pick it up. (glad I never bought at full price though!) Did you ever play the first one yourself? (just interested in how you felt they compare)

Not as good as undercover, but I enjoyed it more than Lego Ninjago if you've played that one.

It's excellent. Better than the first. Plus they released an extra Avengers Infinity Download pack for it.

I read that the open world bit comes quite late in the game though. I know in the first one you had to go through a good few levels before new york opened up. Have this one on the switch and admittedly only done 2 odd levels, no 'open world' yet

It's a wicked game. My daughter loves it, as do I when I play on it with her. Still an open world. It's got all kinds of different worlds in one on this one. Definitely worth the price. I brought it when it came out for her on the Xbox one. She's only just recently completed it 100%

From the reviews ive taken time to read I believe it does have an open world / free play along side the campaign.

I have the first game and the Avengers (in fact I think the only Lego game I dont have is the Hobbit one) and in the mood for some Marvel after IW so this is a great price, plus a great way to show off some new characters to my son before we watch IW together when its on Blu Ray

We have the first one and the Avengers, kids love the Lego games, I even like them, first one I played was Pirates of The Caribbean and really enjoyed it!!

Get the first one if you don't have that. It's cheap and the best of the bunch.

My lad keeps asking, every time we at Asda n he sees it, too expensive there though obviously!!

It won't be more than £20 by Xmas. Tempted to wait too. It's not a game mine are asking for so it can wait. Good price for now though.
