When was the last time your TV made you go ‘wow'? This LG C3 OLED TV uses self-lit pixels for perfect blacks and brilliant highlights – it's pretty magical. You'll be able to pick out every star in a night sky – and because there's no backlight, there's no annoying halos either. The a9 Gen6 AI processor is the brain of the TV. It's hard at work in the background, upscaling the picture and audio of everything you watch. More brightness means better contrast. You'll see more detail in every scene – day or night – thanks to the Brightness Booster.

Good to know

- It looks great in any room thanks to its stunningly thin and light design
- There's something for the whole family on webOS, LG's smart platform which includes Netflix, Disney+ and a whole lot more
- Filmmaker Mode turns off any picture processing that can make movies look unnatural, so you can enjoy them the way the director intended
- Sound flows all around you with Dolby Atmos, making you feel like you're at the heart of the action
- Dolby Vision HDR brings more depth to every scene with incredible contrast and vivid colours
- Get the most out of your next-gen console with support for 4K@120 Hz and more gaming tech than you can shake a controller at
- OLED Motion makes fast paced sports and movies look smooth, so it's easy to keep up with the action
- AI Sound Pro transforms 2-channel audio into virtual 5.1 surround sound for that movie theatre experience

They also have the LG g2 for £1199 and I believe there is 11% topcashback on all LG tvs at currys at the moment. So that would be a better deal if someone just wants a good oled TV. (edited)

The G2 can also get a bit brighter than the C3; however, you won't see much difference in actual usage. The C3 supports DTS audio formats while the G2 doesn't, so the newer model is a better fit for a home entertainment setup.

from rtings when you google it. rtings.com/tv/….10

also G2 is wall mount only, unless u buy the stand for it

If this was a PS5 bundle it would've been much more ideal!

They are now at the point of giving them away

This is just a silly currys bundle deal that over inflates the price of one item to make the other item sound cheap

    The c3 is 1200 elsewhere

The C2 last year dipped just below £1k around Christmas. The C3 dipped to £1099 during Black Friday. Prices have jumped since November. There are no bargains here. Lot of the C3 seem £300 more elsewhere.

This is an okay deal but I would hope an LG deal with 20% off will beat this in next few months. Not sure why the 55C3 series has got so expensive. Maybe cost of living prices are finally creeping into their prices.

X Box Series X is £349 on Amazon. So about £1159 for the tv.

I'm waiting for the G3 to be about this price in Christmas Day/Boxing day sales.

Guys , if you look at the pattern over the years, nobody is going to get one for cheaper than £1099 so with an Xbox it’s a good deal. I’ve just been into the store to get one and you cannot get £300 off the telly! So, whoever said that jog on

Im actually surprised this deal has not done that well. Taking current xbox price at around £359. TV is £999 which is around what people normally pay for current C series 55 inch model. Plus likely that cashback deals are available on TCB too.

I thought this was a good deal, pulled the trigger last night, with the intention of selling the Xbox to bring the price down…

Then they came back in stock at LG this morning, so cancelled Curry’s and bought direct, with Quidco and my partners Bluelight it’s brought the OLED55C34LA down to £996.02 👌🏾

That's good to know, I was going to return my Xbox to amazon and then order from currys. So it seems I could pick up a 55 direct from LG as I also have bluelight for similar price.

Technically it's £300 off of select LG TVs when you buy a Series X (not the other way around).

Also, given that the promotion is tied to the purchase of the Xbox, not the TV, you'd be better off having your deal link to the Series X.

    Not a good deal.

Looking at the above I'm guessing £1040 for a OLED55C36LC is pretty good value or should I wait for a bit more off?

    It's a good price . Paid £1.500 for my C3 , but did get a soundbar with it .

The 42C34LA 42 inch is on sale at costco for £944 with 5 years Warranty

TCB at 11% for all LG TV's at Currys should make this quite a bargain, no?

I have noticed however that when going via TCB and hunting for the Xbox bundle, it does redirect to a new tab, which leads me to think that cashback might not be given?
    Tarlok_Kharpal's avatar
Might be a risk regarding the cashback, but even without cashback this is still the best c3 deal out there at the moment.

Deals have been very poor so far this year.

AO had the G2 55 inch for less than £1000 last week and all sold out. I got my G2 55 inch last year for £1179 around this time and I think that was a good deal then, doubt the G3 will get anywhere near that this year.

I think they don't want to reduce the LG oleds anymore as they are always the most popular.

I bought an Xbox on the 19th at amazon for 349 which I have not opened yet, I guess I could return for refund and buy this instead. Would make the c3 about a grand I was hoping to buy one now but can't get close to a grand for c3. I guess this has the 5 year warranty.

Any way of getting the C3 55 sub £1000?

for 1000£ from Costco (including they 5 year warranty) I would snatch that 😁👌

I wonder if the prices may go down a bit in January? (edited)
    blanka's avatar
Thats what I am wondering. Ces and new tvs to be shown soon. Prices for old goes down. But it's dilemma where you wait to much for the best deal and they sell out. Made that mistake, but when do you bite.
Do think their will be better, but probably not by a lot more.
Let's face it, 2024 tvs will only be marginally better and all new tech isn't really in use properly.

LG C3 42 inch bundled with Xbox Series X is out of stock in Currys despite the fact that both of them are available separately, it doesn’t make any sense.

Does the bundle works with TopCashback?
  22. Jamesz23's avatar
the bundle for the 55" is now £1478. Am I missing something or did they change it? The deal said it was valid until 1st Feb so not impressed if they have just changed it!
