Does anyone know if buying codes for Egypt can be redeemed via a vpn on the Xbox store? Regularly do this for Brazil/Argentina but I’ve noticed Egypt are coming up far cheaper on game codes. My few vpns doesn’t have the region but I’d track one down if I knew it worked the same as the aforementioned regions.

    Any help would be appreciated!

If your vpn supports Egypt, then it works, same with any region.

    F U P S is a Turkish prepaid debit card.
You can only buy from Xbox Turkey using Turkish payment methods

Turkey has tightened the requirements for gaining a F U P S card, so you can no longer sign up for a new one unless you have a Turkish ID.

Oldubil was another payment method but again that was killed off a couple of months back

An alternative for people who can't use the Turkey storefront is to buy from an EU store front.

There's an EU law passed that means that anyone in the EU can buy digital games from other EU regions. This means that at the moment people in the UK can buy from Xbox Iceland, but again it's unknown if this method will be closed at some point due to Brexit and this law technically not applying to us.

You just need to beware of any fees from your card provider for paying in a foreign currency if you do that.
Someone posted a BG3 deal for £42 from the Xbox Iceland store for example that included their fees for paying with a Halifax debit card (edited)

It's cheaper buying a key online.

Just confirming here that buying an Egyptian key and redeeming it via VPN works. Got Baldurs Gate 3 standard for around £12 and Alan Wake 2 Deluxe for £28

Use code 10GAMIVO10 for 10% off

The VPN I used was an app on the Playstore. Egypt VPN. it's free and worked perfectly for me. (edited)

£24. Nice. Just don't make it bait your there to buy turkish gift cards and you should be ok. Otherwise they might refuse to sell it to you

I originally posted 3 deals btw:

    1. BG3 from Xbox Turkey
    2. BG3 from Xbox UK
    3. BG3 physical preorder of the deluxe edition directly from the creator Larian

#1 has been downvoted because of people who don't have FUPS not liking it
#2 was moved to a discussion because it was at RRP (even though people have been waiting months for this and it was a shadow release)
#3 Was removed for being an "unreputable seller" lol

This is a big part of the reason I never post the bargains i find any more, too much effort goes to waste. Complete waste of my time posting 3 deals this morning

Assuming most set-up 2 FUPS accounts lol.
£40/75 of your monthly budget going poof here. And with the sale from the last few days thats another £10 gone. Leaving you £25 for the rest of the month.
Good luck folks. Crazy to think spending £75 on games in a month could be so easy. (edited)

Sorry to hijack this so long after it was posted, but I just followed that link in the comment above mine (which is consequently expired now) and clicked the 'deluxe' link down the page, taking me to gamivo.
On gamivo it says that it can only be activated and played in Egypt. How do you all get past the 'played in Egypt' part? (edited)
