If you are more interested in getting the phone as cheap as possible you could downgrade to a still excessive by most people's standards 100gb of data, then the upfront is £0.

    Nice deal MrSwitch.

Sell the phone & its a great price for unlimited data

I would say keep such a good phone with the unlimited data bundle etc but I appreciate people's views differ and have different needs. For such a good package for roughly £15 per month is a cracking deal in my humble opinion especially in view of the prices generally these days.

Do you think you can get away without a case with this?
    rugman's avatar
Yes, but it comes with a free case in the box. Screen protectors I have found are hit and miss as it's a curved screen. The curved glass ones I got from Amazon were rubbish, kept sliding off. Got some now from AliExpress which are better

Will Moto match with pixels and Samsung in terms of updates and security?

Do these have decent camera and good user experience never had Moto so sitting on fence

Decent camera, clean Android and premium feel to this, only thing stopping me is no wireless charging which I would like to be able to try out in my new car. (edited)

Think I might jump at the edge 40 non-neo that mentioned.

I'm being moved off a legacy SIM only with Three that I was paying £12 for unlimited everything for, and the best they can come up with is £17 after negotiating.

An extra £2.99 a month on top of my legacy deal and a phone to go with it seems decent! (edited)

Thinking about buying this but unsure of ID Mobile. Any recommendations or reviews based on coverage and customer service? Thanks

I signed up to them with this phone and they've been spot on so far. Been with them just over a month and the phone is cracking too

How is ID mobile can you still run it through 3internet apn and avoid the constant CGNAT?
Currently running three for my home broadband so this would be a neat deal to switch to. keep the phone switch the sim to home broadband router and just stick a cheap sim in the phone. Assuming its not network locked and CGNAT can be avoided like the native three sim. (edited)
    drkdeath5000's avatar
Did some reasearch there is only the id and three.co.uk apn available from what i'm able to gather so CGNAT is unavoidable unfortunately.

I've had moto one hyper for 4 years and it's showing its age. Is this likely to last me another 4? Looking at gsmarena specs, the processor doesn't seem to be a huge upgrade.

I have a galaxy s21 fe at the moment. Will this phone be an upgrade?
    kobirulali's avatar
    I would say nah

I missed out on the Blackview shark8 price when it came out last November but got it for £149.99 from Amazon last week when there was fifty quid off. It's only 4G but it's a bl00dy good phone

Expired not long after I bought today.
Can get the Edge 40 non neo which is pretty much the same phone with 8gb ram and faster processor on the same unlimited ID deal for £34 upfront (with code).
