Are there any considerations when going via Mobiles.co.uk vs direct with Vodafone? I’m out of contract and have been with Vodafone for over a decade, but they can’t offer a deal anywhere near as good as this. (edited)

Go through mobiles, vodafone in my experience, have never matched third party sites.

Personally I’ve been using mobiles/e2save for a few years now. Cashback has always been on time. Takes 2 minutes to scan the cheque in using the banking apps.

Is EU roaming included with Vodafone?
    Legfan2's avatar
No, just back from Portugal and i used the Lebara £1 a month for 6 month sim (15gb roaming ) and will use again in July, worked a treat.

between Vodafone and O2, who has better benefits for vouchers/discounts etc?

I don't know where you live (it'd be weird if I did) but I went from Vodafone to O2 and I've regretted every second of my overly expensive O2 contract. I'm in north Wiltshire, absolute dog dirt coverage.

My uncle wants the best deal EE SIM with around 30GB internet 24 month contract without any hassle of claiming or doing anything. Also for around £5 per month

To avoid the remembering hassle, he should find a time machine reverting him back to 1950s.................although EE & mobiles may be non-existent!

Non-time machine solutions for that price, closest one would include Lebara sims and a dual sim phone!

Your final solution, change your uncle!!!!!!!!

Is it definitely no price rise for coming April, will hate to get bitten of April 2024 rise
    Android786's avatar
It says 2025 so you should be all good

Monthly price shown + all out of bundle charges will increase each April (from 2025) by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rate of inflation published in Jan of that year + an additional 3.9%.

Sim upgrades are only if you aren't in a sim only contract, found out I've still got a few months before I can upgrade
    Legfan2's avatar
No i've just upgraded my sim only deal but i was in my last month so could upgrade. £20 Topcashback worked as well.

The 200GB upgrade is the won that's hard to beat

It would be stupid not to wait until April. I learnt the hard way last time when I took out a contract in Feb.
    Legfan2's avatar
It says rises start in April 2025

Just a small caveat to confirmed with mobiles . Co.uk to clarify if the data speed is capped as the unlimited speed sim is £6 more per month
    Legfan2's avatar
Not sure what you mean ! Speeds are capped on the basic sim plans(this plan is not)are you looking at the unlimited data sims ?

Hi I am due for upgrade as per Vodafone app and my contract ends 15 May 2014.

At the moment have contract with Vodafone via mobiles co.uk.

Can I renew now with mobiles.co.uk?
  15. Daventry's avatar
If you use airtime rewards to reduce the monthly bill are you still eligible for mobiles.co.uk cashback?
I guess you could always use it on the months you’re not supposed to send them your bill? (edited)
    Mak_22's avatar
I m not sure you can use on bills but I do receive cheque from mobiles.co.uk and last one remaining

I managed to get an EE unlimited all deal SIMO 12m for £18 over the phone as my contract was coming to an end. If anyone is near the end of their SIMO deal worth a shout

Ordered a different plan on voda on Mobiles, used PAC at checkout for 11th March.

Sim arrived today but says "sim not provisioned"

Is that because my port date is 11th? (edited)
    aclondon's avatar
If not working now, I would restart your device with the new SIM and wait 2-4 hours to see if it activates. If not get on their team.
BTW, is your old SIM still active?
  18. aclondon's avatar
Perfect timing Op. Just got off a chat with Voda and they could get nowhere near this, even had the PAC sent before I noticed your post. 120gb at this price is just crazy (edited)
