I bought a load of these and the AA ones when they were on offer a couple of years ago. I think these are the same. They really do not hold their charge well in the drawer and also the fully charged life isn't that great - but they are a good price.

They switched from the Made in Japan to made in China. Went sharply downhil, after the switch.

Can recommend Eneloop AAA never had a failure the bad news is that they are expensive, I maybe wrong but aren't Ikea's made by Panasonic (makers of Eneloop ) and cheaper.

So the legends say. Although IKEA'S capacity is lower and the price (currently) higher. And it's mostly only useful if you live near IKEA and are going here anyway.

Unless you really need that top performance. For a bunch of devices in the home I don't see why you would tbh, as long as you keep a few spares with some charge. (edited)

Does anyone recommend a good brand of rechargeable batteries? I don't live near an Ikea and they have expensive shipping. Eneloop are extremely expensive. Is there a reliable budget alterative? Thanks

I've heard good things about Ansmann branded batteries. They offer some of the highest capacity NiMH cells on the market, although that can be at the expense of a higher self-discharge rate.
