RMA will be a pain as Sapphire don’t deal directly with end user.

Amazon after 6months will refer you to the manufacturer and then you will start a never ending loop between Amazon CS you and Sapphire. Not worth it.

Exactly the same treatment from Amazon with a Powercolor GPU. Equally so the manufacturer absolutely refused to assist in an RMA claim. Nightmare, absolute nightmare. (edited)

Good deal, just be prepared to fill in a tonne of paperwork and send it to their processing centre in POLAND, at your own cost and not be reimbursed fully if you have an issue with it - my experience with Amazon France. (edited)

Though it was the Czech Republic, not that this makes any real difference!

Anyway, while Gigabyte's general quality and component choices are often questioned (with the possible exception of top of the range Aorus parts), they do have UK RMA AFAIK. And possibly Zotec (but they are 100% an Nvidia OEM). (edited)

£40 off the MSRP is not worth losing a good quality warranty.

Good price, paid £100 more for a black Gigabyte one in black friday sales 4 months ago

    Will that work on a good 550W PSU powering a 65W 5700x ?
    Czubaka's avatar
700w power supply is recommended for this GPU mate. I'd say a quality 650w would do but with 550w you're pushing your luck. It will most likely work, but this has regular power spikes to 330w so you may see your system shutting down. If you're dropping 450 quid on a GPU, may as well spend another £70 on a PSU to make sure it works properly. (edited)
