Amazing cans… I have the first gen which I prefer from its soundstage but at this price, wow. They do need a good headphone amp in my book though. Can’t go wrong and on par with a lot more expensive headphones.

Check out Fiio amps. Night and day with my Grado headphones. Can’t comment on these though

Worth putting in the title that these are open back in case people don't notice.

Open back headphones leak sound and let sound in, so not ideal for noisy environments or if you share a room with someone.

but great for soundstage on gaming and movies! but yeah.. noise pollution from my son!

Good...but by all means go for the Sennheiser HD 599 Special Edition which is now at Amazon for £69!

I have a pair of these and there just great.
Fab price for the quality you get.
I have a few different makes of headphones and use these in the house.
As mentioned as open backs they would leak sound. I use them wired and with a blue tooth
    dongle dac etc.
They fit fine and I would say I have normal sized ears and they are comfy.
I suppose if you don't like them you have the option to return for a small cost.

I feel you get a lot of quality for your money.

Just bought the Rode NTH-100 worth returning them and getting this or the HD599s? I just need a decent pair for gaming
    Crossbow's avatar
It depends, first decide if you want open-back (these & the HD599s) or closed-backed (the NTH-100s) - many good articles on the Internet.
You can compare these with the HD599s here rtings.com/hea…056
Also do some research on headphones for gaming & the games you play.
Audio in general can be very subjective - the sound signature you prefer may not appeal to others & vice versa, but as it is for gaming this aspect may not matter to you or your purpose.

Rankings of many wired gaming headphones since 2015 with a score of atleast 6.5 & over - best to worst rtings.com/hea…497

Edit: another closed-back one to consider for £65 amazon.co.uk/FII…F8H - courtesy of at hotukdeals.com/com…213

These are great, combine with a proper amp and EQ and BAM! A treat for the ears.

That feeling of listening to your favourite songs again with a new pair of headphones.

who on earth uses wired headphones these days ?
    jameshothothot's avatar
me when gaming for zero latency and better quality audio with no compression on music at work (edited)

I can happily recommend these headphones. Paid nearly twice that for mine and thought they were great for the price. This is an absolute bargain.
  11. ibz100's avatar
Bit overrated when I tried them but your mileage may vary. I very much had a 'is that it?' reaction.

Loved the design and build though.
  12. Mooseville's avatar
Ridiculous bargain for these headphones! They sound better than the disposable wireless ones people are paying £300+ for!
    Hunterx878's avatar
They certainly do. You're getting a few passive-aggressive " "s from the butt-hurt Apple Airpod fanboys though.

Usually £99 in the Amazon sales, great price

I was looking into replacing the ear pads on mine the other day but think I'll just buy a new pair at this price haha.
    ps3ud0's avatar
Considering the same to replace some X2 I bought in 2017, already bought X2HR for PC gaming as the 3.5" port is very useful. Hmmm...

These are absurdly cheap, if I didn't already have DT1990s I'd be all over these.

Excellent deal. I want to replace my B&O Beoplay H6 wired ones with open backs. Very tempted. Even though I've spent a lot of money recently
  19. khodos's avatar
I really like the sound profile of these. So much that it spoiled all other headphones I have, they all sound rubbish to me. I have the Sony xm3 and the recently posted hyperx cloud 3
  20. Smm0's avatar
Temped just because the ear muffs on my old ones are crap now and every replacement ear pads ive bought have ruined the sound.

Strap fake leather is flaking off and the metal bits have discoloured.
  21. jimel's avatar
Would anyone know the best way to get sound from my LG OLED CS6 TV and Panasonic UB820 4k player to these headphones? TV doesn't have a headphone socket...
    Zooicidal's avatar
You could use a headphone dac from the TVs optical out.
  22. timcunningham80's avatar
I genuinely adore these headphones - have owned them multiple times over the last decade but always sell when I get the itch for wireless. At this price they are a no brainer but oddly delivery is 3 weeks with this link. There are some other ones on Amazon for a couple of quid more with a quicker delivery time
  23. Laura_Perry's avatar
I absolutely love the sound of these but they really give me a headache after 20 minutes of use. Sound so good though!
    Crossbow's avatar
That's a little odd, have any other headphones you've ever used given you this problem?
Welcome to the forums btw (edited)
  24. Ricky_Stephens's avatar
Does it have the right frequencies for a Samsung phone or our these monitor headphones
  25. EmzH's avatar
Now even cheaper at £65.54, 6 left in stock.

Will be my first ever open end headphones.

Hoping they will sound better then my Sony mx3 NC one (edited)
