I hope people who bought it last time from this seller can comment on the device condition.

4Gadgets pretty much the best 'large' phone reseller out there for condition and support imo, typically beat Music Magpie and others by a mile. Even their lower grades are often very good.

I have a VIVO X NOTE on the way with a massive 7 inch screen. Hopefully this will bring back my memories with the Huawei Mate 20 X.

    Where did you order from?

ordered excellent condition 512 GB red model, came with massive lines across the screen, will be returning for an exchange, hopefully they'll send out a better one.

Update: received my replacement 4 days after sending the other off, this one is pristine, can't fault it.

Received my S23 last Friday. Ordered Pristine condition and is flawless; not a mark on it so very happy. Battery life seems fine too.

Got mine as well today. I went for the Fair condition. Minor scuffs on the sides and a couple of almost unnoticable scuffs on the display (unless you go looking for these, you wouldn't find it on the display).

Ran the ADB against the phone.
Battery health came in at 99 and the use cycles came in at 137.

I guess this is not bad for S23 Ultra @ 479 with 12months warranty.

    What is ADB please? Thanks

Brought a fold 4 1tb in fair condition. Got it yesterday and the condition in my opinion is poor.

The outer screen looks like it's been slid across the table with 2 scratches deep enough to cause a rainbow effect. The inner one has minor scratches that have a rainbow effect on a white screen also but it doesn't look nearly as bad as the outer one.

I have since ordered a 512gb in excellent condition as they didn't have any in good condition for the colour I picked. Hopefully that is in better condition then I will return the 1tb model.

Hmmm, this or to just get the S24 Ultra when my contract finishes in August? Tough decisions.
    Throwy's avatar
Ive had all s ultra phones since the 20 and honestly the s24 feels like the biggest step up, the chip.is very fast, new ai intergration and photo processing it is an incredible camera, the screen is incredibky bright and sharp, i have mine with AOD 1440 and no battery saving options and still get a good day of.battery, monster of a phone
  11. DrPorkchop303's avatar
Anyone ordered a pristine S23 Ultra? What was the condition like, I am looking to order one. (edited)
    nathnat's avatar
Absolutely spot on. Honestly, I couldn't fault it. I know I might sound like a bot saying it, but it was like new condition as you'd expect really
  12. dunwell_11's avatar
Late to the party here - went for the s23 Ultra / 512GB in excellent condition - can't fault it, not a mark on the device. Ran it through adb sys and the battery health is 96%. Been using the device over a week now and very happy! Thanks OP!

At doji.co.uk you can get a Samsung 22 Ultra 256gb in good condition for £358.98. It's £369.99 for the same thing on this. Wouldn't it be better to buy from Doji?
    razo's avatar
Sounds a bit doji to me
  14. Rboom123's avatar
Went for the s23 plus, the ultra size puts me off. If only they did the ultra in the s23 plus body!
    Moss.b's avatar
They should also think about switching names for those models.
  15. mcada's avatar
The Giffgaff deal seems to be still better, at least for 512GB/12GB version, and similar to the good condition of 256GB/8GB.

More than that a lot (not everyone) people mentioned they received the Giffgaff good condition phone which was actually excellent or pristine. (edited)

Ultra hot for me. 🔥 🔥
  17. vicx85's avatar
Wondering why the s23 plus is more than the s23 ultra. I don't want one as big as the ultra, but seems like the better value? Need an upgrade from my starting to fail s21 plus that's 3 years old now
    Rboom123's avatar
If only the ultra was in the plus body! I think £550 for the S23+ 512Gb in pristine is a great price
  18. AddictedToBuying's avatar
    Bought yesterday, received today.

    Red S23 Ultra - Fair
Condition is great, a few minor scratches on the sides, screen has a couple of light spots.

Absolutely chuffed with it. Proper random buy 🫠

    Thanks

If you are procrastinating-just buy it!
    plewis00's avatar
What were the bright spots on the display? OLEDs don’t usually get those unless it’s minor burn in? As to the condition - that’s the same experience I’ve had in the past, with a Fair grade actually being pretty good.
  19. Digicrest's avatar
That's it, I swear going forwards I'm just gonna wait a year on new models for the price to drop before buying. These things hold value like a siv holds water, ridiculous how fast they drop
    jamie1156's avatar
    agree
  20. rhybo's avatar
Around two years ago I got an S21 ultra very good condition and it was as described. Apart from one small mark on a corner it was in great condition.
  21. Joshfount's avatar
Some good prices here especially S23 Ultra ♨️
  22. Bude74's avatar
Thanks for posting. Orrdered a 256gb Pristine S23

Damn 480£ for that beast what a steal

Good prices and good seller, better than ebay
  25. mrbongoman's avatar
Ordered an s22 ultra foe my mrs graded as fair and was astonished it wasn't brand new not a blemish on it but I have not or have I ever done any battery tool checks like samfw or ADB will give them a try kn all my devices later was reading the option to only charge to 85 % is great another thing I have never done
  26. john.hollingsworth's avatar
Very late to the party, ordered a fair red s23 ultra 256gb, just arrived. slight scratch on the camera lens above the top camera, doesn't affect it. No other visible marks. 245 charge cycles on SamFR so battery is 1/3 of the way through its useful life? How would I determine the battery health?
    Rimi's avatar
Do not worry about battery. When it reach 800+ cycles, it will have 76% of battery health and still be usable until 1000 cycles, where then it will be degraded to the level you need to replace it.
  27. JimMc's avatar
Does anyone know who refurbishes these phones? Are they refurbished with genuine Samsung parts?
    plewis00's avatar
They are probably just pre-owned in most cases not actually had parts swapped out.
  28. Ell223's avatar
Got a regular S23 in Excellent condition, came today and it's nowhere near what they describe as "very minor cosmetic signs of use, including small scratches to the screen or casing."

Multiple scratches to screen, with water damage. Casing pretty scuffed up too. Bizarre. Would say it was closer to what you'd expect Fair to be, and a lot worse than phones people have posted that were listed as Fair. (edited)
    Shahid1973's avatar
Did you return it for another one?
  29. dealagent's avatar
do they offer free returns just in case the condition is worse?

    Yes

What's the battery capacity like on these?
    jamie1156's avatar
What I would love to know lol.
  31. Heetz55's avatar
Hi. Ordered thank you. My s9+ battery is deteoriating. I went for s22 as s23 ultra is a big phone.
    Raiper's avatar
    The S22 battery is bad...
  32. NevenNachev's avatar
    Gently used..
  33. Rimi's avatar
I had S23U from them earlier. Phone was mint condition, not a scratch. But battery charge cycles were at 703 when checked with SamFw FRP tool. Bit too high for me so returned back. (edited)
    Friday-Ubaydah's avatar
Considering brand-new Galaxy S23 Ultra replacement batteries cost ~£30 on eBay, was the decision to return the phone wise?

If the phone was in pristine condition as you stated, and the price was great, surely purchase of a new battery and swapping out the old for the new, with help from YouTube instruction videos, you could have bagged a real bargain.
  34. Nicoj's avatar
Anyone no if these are backed by Samsung 2 year warranty?
  35. ssmomunro's avatar
Is this currently the best deal for a S23, not ultra? Appreciate any comments

Don't forget to register on the Samsung website - I got 12 months free Disney!

*Someone posted the free Disney offer on here a couple of months back. (edited)
    Uchiha_Monkey's avatar
    How?
  37. vicx85's avatar
Has anyone purchased from here before this post and tried to return their order if not as expected. Their website looks poor, just look at their returns page with red block text, the wording and last updated in 2022. They only really have Samsung, everything else pretty much oos. It all seems a bit dodgy
    RJASSI's avatar
I have ordered another fold 4 as I wasn't happy with the condition of the one I got. It should come next week. I will be returning the one I got for the reason of the condition being too bad. That is an option you can select as a reason for return as I have already checked.

In fairness it was listed as fair and there isn't a poor option below that but that's where I would put it.

Hopefully the excellent one I've ordered isn't as bad. (edited)

Got a s21 ultra but looking to update. Is the s23 ultra worth it?
    RJASSI's avatar
I had an 21 Ultra USA model 512gb 16gb ram with the snapdragon CPU. Nothing wrong with it just thought I would benefit from upgrading to the fold 4. The S21U is a great device. I tried to replace it with an S22U and found the S21 was just better so I returned that.

I have since replaced it with a fold 4 now though and the fold 4 is very convenient for me.

The S23U is a better device however I personally probably wouldn't upgrade to one since the S21U is still going to get updates.

I only got the fold 4 for practicality since I am definitely benefitting from the larger screen while also having it be pocketable.

Battery life is terrible in S22 Ultra on mobile data worse than S21 ultra ( 4 hours screen on time when screen is set to full HD) . Phone is perfect otherwise. Dont buy this phone if you want a phone with good battery
