The noddy alarm is piezo squeal. I would not pay more than £10 for one. If you have a security set up, like Eufy, better to spend more on a sensor that links to it.
Only useful to startle people in your shed as the noise is pretty well contained internally.
I think it's still on a shelf somewhere in the shed.
Perhaps if you mounted it inside the door that opens it might be of some use but it was just e-waste, based on my results.
