Each time I try to claim the extra 3 months, I get rejected telling me “A qualifying device cannot be found on proof of purchase”. Of course there’s no device, I just bought it on Argos and submitted that receipt.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

I selected 'subscription service' and uploaded a PDF print from the argos purchase confirmation email.
The 3 months were approved within 30 minutes.

What's the max you can stack again? Currently good til May 31st 2025 but will grab another 15 months.

This never comes up when I need it, don’t know if I wanna spend more at the moment. Heat added

If you buy them when you need them you've left it too late.

Obviously it's hard to do if money is tight but if you can buy a couple and stack them, or even just one, then just top up one a year when a decent offer is on, you save in the long run

I bought this because it’s cheaper than paying for 2x 200Gb iCloud accounts and you get 6x 1Tb accounts plus office. It’s been a pain moving photos over because neither phone has enough storage to save all photos locally then upload to iCloud. Had to download on a computer then upload to OneDrive that way. The OneDrive app does upload new photos and videos without any drama. It also recognises what’s inside each picture like iCloud Photos does so you can search for “dog” or “car” and get some results. I could really use some kind of photo organising app to use with the OneDrive folder now.

I’ve done the same. Annoying you can’t back your iPhone up to it though. I wonder if the EU/US will make them open this up too? Here’s hoping…

Nice deal but for extra £5 (£54.99) you can get 15 months subscription from Amazon UK + Macafee or Norton antivirus.

Can it be shared with friends rather than family ? (Without adding friends to your family in the settings of your account).

If I recall correctly, you just invite whoever by email, up to 5 other people. Maybe they're your distant cousins...

I am subscribed to a 365 Personal account.
    a) Can I buy this and redeem it?
    b) If I do, what happens to the 3 months I have left till renewal?
    Garyb71's avatar
When I did this I lost the remaining couple of months..

My 3 extra months was rejected. Uploaded a photo of Mcaffee and 365 codes. Should it have been something else? Thanks

Update saved receipt as pdf and was approved and granted 3 months extra. Worth the effort. (edited)

Also, don't forget TCB and Airtime Rewards if you are a member of those.
I also sold Mcafee on Ebay for a couple of pounds.
    Heat added 🔥
    Thanks OP

Is there a hack to increase free months? Previously, I read that if you turn off auto renewal, they offer extra free months? Does anyone have a step to step guide? Thanks.

bought and redeemed the extra 3 months. Got a code back from MS in about 10 mins. 15 months for £49.99. Very happy with that, £0.55 a month for each of the family.

Are there any deals for Windows Word only?
    DealHugger's avatar
I doubt. And I think you can just use Google Doc for free if Word is all you need.

How long does it usually take a digital download link to be sent? Its been about 2 hours since purchase and I haven't seen anything in my emails or spam yet.
    Kieran_McMutrie's avatar
It was just under 2 hours for me

Thanks v much Op. Every year I tell myself to migrate from Dropbox Free to this MS365. Soooooo comfortable with Dropbox but the limit of 3 devices is causing issues.
    Cadabena's avatar
MS/OneDrive gives you 5gb on a free account you could get started with, I think that's on par with Dropbox's free offering?
  18. MarkSmale's avatar
So can I purchase this and add to my current subscription? I have 6 months left… on current ??
    parpenbhwarg's avatar
    Yes
  19. ian18's avatar
Forgot last year to claim the additional 3 months!
  20. Saver12's avatar
    Few queries

    (1) How do you stack up multiple years - does it mean you spend multiple x £45 and this implies £45 for each 15 months
    (2) can someone explain "each new purchase of Microsoft 365 Family up to 10 times, so you can stack up purchases of 15 months. You can claim the additional 3 months with each new purchase of Microsoft 365 Family up to 10 times, so you can stack up purchases of 15 months"

    tx in advance

Argos £5 off voucher doesn't seem to be working? Anyone else having issues?
    Kieran_McMutrie's avatar
It kept saying not valid. Eventually I got one of my emails to work but it took a good 4 hours for code to arrive.

Anyone got any spare Argos £5 Discount code to share, it didn't work with my email...? Please DM me if you don't mind sharing the discount code

£5 marketing code hasn't been working for me for a few days now. Either says email invalid or code never arrives. Anyone else experiencing the same?
    GWL98's avatar
Same, waiting for it to arrive
