Everyone should be looking at eBay for these currently. Loads got them with Xiaomi 14. I got the low storage and ram version for £180 off eBay for UK version.

Still looking for the band 8 pro for £15 but struggling with that price.

Cheers - bought one from fleabay

This is a great price for the UK tablet although I bought the 8GB version via Aliexpress with global rom for £199.97.
I thoroughly recommend the tablet it’s a massive step up from the Samsung A7 tablet I had previously and also beats the latest 9+ tablet.
    I haven’t found any downsides

I think £80 can be used if total value is £300 after auto discount (edited)

Is the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro better in most ways? It's got a better processor.
Do both tablets have the Google play store app installed as standard?
    nathanielwyvern's avatar
Yes, while there is a China specific version, any £ labelled entry available to order on mi dot com has a global build of Android with the play store.

Honor Pad 9... Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro...even the Honor Pad x9

Have all featured recently as deals on here recently.. Maybe a few others too..

All with their pros vs cons... and differences in spec, and of course UK vs China (eg. Aliexpress) buying options and CN vs Global ROMs... blah blah blah

Ahhhh what to choose?... What to press the button on?... What more importantly, What to invest our hopes of getting a great Tablet/Pad and at a deal price in?

    Decisions decisions...

Right now, AFTER much contemplation, comment reading and video watching, arguing with my wife over our finances (luckily she's gone out now) and weighing up as many pros n cons of the several offerings posted on here against price, and not least what I feel a good tablet/pad SHOULD have (eg. great screen resolution and with 120hz min, great speakers, great build quality, great form factor, very good onboard RAM n storage, an genuinely appropriate OS/ROM etc factory geared for use by UK/Western customers as opposed to having to make do, make crucial compromises and take a risk on a typical Chinese variant; poss even a clone etc, pref.a SD/SIM slot, a stylus and keyboard accessories options and at least a good if not a great camera set up, and so on...oh, and a plug plug included!

    I am still confused!!!!

    HEAT 🔥 (edited)

This or a NEW Galaxy Tab s6 lite for £170...only using for the stylus for Nomad Sculpt???
    Chz's avatar
Edited: I didn't see there's a newer version of the same name.

The Xiaomi is faster and has more RAM/storage, but the S6 Lite is perfectly usable. It's the minimum that I'd call usable, but it is usable. (edited)

52456731-Vk0h5.jpgThis is the price I have with my Mi points added, plus 1.7% cashback from TopCashBack.
Seems a pretty good deal price to me. (edited)

Suddenly getting this £400 value with the 14 and 14 Ultra series wasn't such a great value.
    bubblesmoney's avatar
That's the 256 GB version that costs more.
Ps you can use a Xiaomi pen to write notes and do art and it's pressure sensitive as far as I am aware. Although haven't used a pen on it. But you can see great videos comparing this against OnePlus, different iPads, Samsung tablets in one video for writing notes and also for art work in various apps apart from all the usual tablet features

agreed, my pad 5 is solid, wouldn't hesitate to buy this for friends or family who need a basic content consumption / light document writing device.

What's the benefits of the 8gb over the 6gb in real world usage ? (edited)
    Smm0's avatar
    Approx 2gb benefit I think.

Does anyone know if this comes with the UK 3-pin plug? (edited)

    Why would it not?

Anyone selling theirs that they got free with Mi 13/14 deals? Had a look on eBay and people are selling for £220 or more, which doesn’t make much of a difference as would rather buy the new one for £250 from this deal.

I kinda wish I went for the Pro version. Cant help but feel the cpu is a bit dated.. which is sad for a £200 product with ips panel, no gps and tinny speakers.

Dont get me wrong.. I do like it.. but dont expect to be actually impressed by it in any way.
