First Ever Career Anthology!
64 Tracks Featuring 11 Unreleased Recordings!

2020 Grammy Award Winner:
• Best Recording Package: Chris Cornell

2019 Grammy Award Winner:
• Best Rock Performance: "When Bad Does Good"

The first ever complete career retrospective of Chris Cornells career covering Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog, Audioslave and his solo works. This Limited Edition 4CD collection contains 64 songs with 11 previously unreleased recordings from all stages of Cornell's career. Jeff Ament oversaw the project design which includes the 54-page booklet with unreleased photos. Liner notes were contributed by Kim Thayill, Matt Cameron, Tom Morello, Mike McCready and Brendan O'Brien.

The slipcase holds 4 CD-sized mini jackets and is wrapped by a custom die-cut o-card that showcases a Seattle tree-line on the front and other various cities Chris lived in throughout his life on the back.

The collection is centered around an unreleased track "When Bad Does Good" performed, recorded and mixed by Chris himself, which was found in Chris' personal audio archive. The collection also includes ten unreleased live performances with Yusuf/Cat Stevens, as well as his daughter Toni Cornell.

Three live selections from Sweden in 2006 Wide Awake, All Night Thing and Led Zeppelins Thank You are from the very first show Chris performed by himself with an acoustic guitar in front of an audience.

"This deeply personal self-titled Deluxe Edition box set follows the arc of an ongoing creative evolution sadly cut short, serving as a fitting testament to yet another sensitive crooner gone too soon." - Mike Mettler, The Absolute Sound, March 2019

One of my all time Legends. That first audioslave album is genius

Chris and Chester both went way too soon. Such a loss to music.

I was already a Soundgarden fan when I first heard Temple of the Dog on the radio. Hunger Strike and Say Hello to Heaven really blew me away but I had to wait weeks until the album was actually released. Still play Chris's music all these years later and it's timeless

Rightly THE voice of my generation. Unbelievable levels of power and softness. We were so spoilt in the 90's by the likes of Vedder, Staley, Cornell, Weiland and Cobain. Glad I grew up with their music. Heat Op

I was also lucky to see him on the Higher Truth tour, at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2016, one of my all time favourite gigs. When I saw him in Soundgarden and Audioslave, of course they were amazing gigs, but his vocals were always quite strained (particularly in the latter years). I saw him do solo acoustic shows twice, the RAH and one in 2012 also in London (I forget the venue), that acoustic setting allowed his glorious, bluesy velvet vocals to really shine, amazing stuff. Saw him loads in the 90’s. Still play SG, Temple, Audioslave daily. The man covered five octaves. So much talent lost. Miss him soooo much. Going to see Eddie in June, beyond excited!
Love all of the above comments, great to know good taste still exists.
    Best post Galwaydave, cheers!

I went to audioslave in London when they played both albums but focussed on the first album and hits from Rage! The best rock performance I've been to easily. When 'show me how to live' came on, I was in Nirvana with my friends (edited)

Saw Soundgarden play Barrowlands in 94 and again in 96. During the 94 gig it was obvious Ben Shepherd was not having a good time. During the 96 gig Chris referenced back to the 94 gig and apologized that the band had a big argument in the dressing room before going on-stage (in 94), and he specifically came back and played the barrowlands for the 96 tour so they could apologize!

Nice that he remembered and apologized, although both gigs were really good. Chris was awesome, although so was Matt C.

"Seasons" is in my top 3 songs of all time, maybe number 1. I must have listened to it thousands of times now, and it never seems to grow old.
