This is the best android watch but the battery is dire. Then again it lasts about the same as an apple watch so..

I don't know why people have such varied experiences with the pixel watch 2 battery life. I get 24 hours standby using about 60% of the battery (from 80% to 20%). With a 30 minute run using the gps, I'll use another 20% but that still gives me more than 24 hours from a full charge.

It's showing as £299 on the website, but they've emailed me a £150 discount, so I guess £149 all in?
    wilburscoville9191's avatar
No. It takes £150 off of £349. Doesn't stack with the current reduced price of £299.

It's tempting, but I think I'll wait until the Pixel 9 comes out and bag a free watch with it, if previous releases are to go by

Same, Pixel 9 is looking like a winner

    £123.99 on Amazon now

Thanks mate, bagged one before they took your deal down. Wasn't obvious until I opened the link in the app that there was a voucher to redeem.

I haaaaaaaate Googles store experience with prices. "Ah so £150 off £299 means £150!"....."no sorry, that £299 already had a discount which we can't offer alongside your code, so it's £199"....."sod ya then"

It's a regular thing? If I weren't so lazy I'd report them to the ASA, if you literally can't buy the product for £150 higher it seems pretty slam-dunk as a misleading advertisement.

    Not that price for me..

No way I'm paying £200 for that watch. How's this a deal

Battery life still too short. Better off with a Fitbit
    nathanscott101's avatar
Google have been ripping features out of the Fitbit line for years, and their end goal is probably to just use fitbit as a brand on their own watches. They are better devices, but I'm not sure about long term support for them.

£150 off email received. Google 1

It's £100 off, you just don't find out until the checkout. It ignores the universal £50 discount off the RRP.

Not living up to the hype before Step 1 of ownership is quick even by Google's standards.

I got an email this morning with a code for £150 off. Takes £150 from the full RRP of £349 , so coming down to £199.00. I have a Pixel and a One subscription. Would have been more appealing if £150 off the current price of £299.

Agree. In that case better off getting the Samsung watch when discounted as it will work out cheaper and in my opinion better
  12. Ned_Kelly's avatar
Don't have any pixel tech at the minute , got the code, not sure if anyone else can use it....pm me
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Probably not. The code is unique and linked to your email address

Flossy Carter sums up this watch for me.

It is quite a small watch even on my skinny wrists, but I quite like it after getting used to it.
The strap is most definitely not designed for people with massive shovel hands and thick wrists like that dude. There are only two notches left to go on mine, so even someone with slightly less skinny wrists than me would struggle.

Battery life issues aside, it's a great watch for this kind of money if it'll fit you. (edited)

Had the 1st edition, how can someone persuade me to buy this version?
    V1_98's avatar
I have the 1st edition too, waiting on how the 3rd edition looks like. Needs improvements on the chipset and battery life...
  15. Lil6ix's avatar
Thr battery life is the deal breaker for me, otherwise I'd buy one.
  16. akexuk's avatar
Also received the offer. Pretty misleading advertising. Has anyone reported them?

    Bad isn't it

If anyone is interested in sensor accuracy this guy tests quite well,
, found this watch to be a lot more accurate compared to the Samsung I had, I get 1.5 days with AOD enabled but do agree batt life could probably be bit better

Had £203 store credit from the fairly recent Pixel 8 deal so effectively got this for free. Wouldn't have paid £199 out of pocket for it - although the new Amazon deal would've been tempting
