I have these and it is the cheapest these have been for a while

  • POWERFUL AND AMPLIFIED USB AUDIO | With a larger custom-tuned 2.25" full-range drivers, the Creative Pebble V3 is now 50% louder, and delivers richer, more powerful audio, with enhanced bass reproduction. Additionally, you can push your audio further with a built-in gain switch for amplified audio (requires a 10W USB-C or USB-A port) and firing acoustics power of 8W RMS and peak power of up to 16W
  • HEAR EVERY WORD WITH CLEAR DIALOG AUDIO PROCESSING | Engineered with our Clear Dialog audio processing, the Creative Pebble V3 delivers clear and intelligible spoken dialogues when watching YouTube, movies and TV series without affecting the audio effects happening in the show’s background, and without having to turn up the volume unnecessarily
  • SIMPLE, PLUG-AND-PLAY USB-C 2.0 SPEAKER | Creative Pebble V3 supports fuss-free connectivity and minimal cabling with only a single USB-C cable and without the need for a 3.5 mm audio cable so your desk remains neat and clutter-free from messy wiring. When used with the latest USB-C ports found on newer computers, the Pebble V3 can draw power more efficiently for louder USB audio. For older computers with a USB-A port, we've also included a USB-Cto USB-A converter for your convenience
  • ALSO CONNECTS VIA BLUETOOTH 5.0 OR 3.5 MM AUDIO INPUT | When you're not at your desk, you can also stream music wirelessly via the latest Bluetooth 5.0! Great for lazy moments where you just want to stay on your bed with some grooves to chill. To pair, simply press the Bluetooth button on Creative Pebble V3 and connect with your mobile device! There is also a 3.5 mm AUX-in jack that allows for universal compatibility across other analog audio devices. (AUX-in cable is not included)
  • MODERN AND MINIMALIST DESIGN WITH 45° ELEVATED DRIVERS | The perfect fit for any home or office, Creative Pebble V3’s compactness makes them ideal on any desk space. Creative Pebble V3 also features a longer cable connecting the right to left speaker for more flexibility in speaker placements, and retains the same 45° elevated drivers, so audio is directed straight to your ears, placing you in the perfect audio sweet spot

These are great, paid a little bit more than this price as I wanted to get aware from the Logitech surround sound I had (bulky buggers). The speakers are cute little things which don't take up much room and work from an appropriately powered USB port. The sound gets sufficiently loud with next to no distortion, its quite clean with no over zealous base, it has tincy wincy bit of oomph, but the vocals and instruments come through clearly of course YMMV.

FYI it will work with both USB C and USB A, most USB C have a higher power supplied to them so should work fine for most who have that port.

The device comes with two fidelity modes CD and DVD quality sound, or gain setting which is controlled by a switch on the bottom of the device. If you want High gain setting make sure your USB port can manage the required 5w+ power to be delivered.

It's there a way to make sure Bluetooth is off?

They might be the earlier version doesn't mention the same features like the clear voice.

These be any good for a tele over the built in speaker?
    Ewen_Bruce's avatar
Unlikely, unless your telly is really cheap and nasty

Anyone know if the difference between the V2 and V3 is worth the extra £2.50 and having to send back and ordering the new version? I only ordered the V2 other day and they're still boxed! (edited)
    J.M.'s avatar
Apparently upto 50% louder in some scenarios......

I'd send the V2 back and get these ones, at least then it would be the most recent version.

I bought these at £29.99 a few weeks ago. Mine work perfectly and for the price I paid, I'm extremely impressed. That they are now just £25.49 is even better for anyone looking for some decent speakers at a good price. Nice spot OP! (edited)

Great speakers i have the v2 since they come with a small boombox but this has Bluetooth which the v2 do not

Bought these refurbished on ebay for £18 couple of years ago. Good quality and enough for a room, but don't expect window shaking bass (edited)
    gggerry's avatar
no you did not you would have bought theV1 OR V2

these are the new V3`s (edited)

Heat 🔥 - these are highly rated for the price and review really well. Make sure to check out the V3 Artisan Editions on the Creative Labs website too.

Love these, better sound than the V1 I had before (also decent), incredible value. (edited)

Got a couple of sets of these for the kids computers, they are pretty decent for the price.
  13. Dddd89's avatar
For the money they are great speakers, lack a bit of bass but great as standard speakers

10w usb port? I thought they are all 5w

My Gigabyte Master MB can provide 18W, 3.6A to Android and 15W, 3A to Apple through the front USB 3.0 type A Ports at 5v.

Supports Quick Charge v3 that includes 9v and 12v.

USB C can provide 240W. (edited)

Okay used with the sub. Pointless and overpriced without.
    smokedog's avatar
The sub isn't great, just add more weight to sound. The speakers on their own do a decent job, they go loud and provide a decent sound stage for the price.

I got the speaker and sub for £20 awhile ago from XS-only (edited)

I have these plugged into the PS5, and they're great for games that I don't use the headset for. I have them in the kid's bedrooms, too, in their consoles or computers. Waaaaaaaaaaay better than monitor speakers.
    Abidur_Rahman7's avatar
Does these work connected directly to the ps5?
  17. darren_chandler's avatar
Still on the v1s have lasted over 4years, well worth it

Could be down to the usb port you have them plugged into. Have you tried another?

They want £50 extra for the one with RGB lights
    slipthru25's avatar
That's the pebble pro, an upgraded version. But the rgb is rubbish unless you sit in a dark room.

    Bought a set
  21. CommanderKeen's avatar
Can you turn off the bluetooth on these so it's not constantly broadcasting?
  22. gggerry's avatar
I use the V2 ON MY DESKTOP brilliant sound quality for watching films great all round quality sound heat added for these new IMPROVED V3 speakers great price (edited)
  23. Mohammed_Seedat's avatar
I got these because they have a physical volume nob. They sound great definite upgrade on a similar priced Bluetooth speaker I had previously
  24. carpainting's avatar
When I looked these were basically the only device on the market that did audio and power over the same USB cable (i.e they have a built-in audio interface). Surprised there weren't more options but luckily they turned out to be decent.
  25. Coheed-Cambria's avatar
Anyone had joy updating the firmware?

I followed the instructions above to the letter but keep getting a message saying I have done it wrong. Also wish the USB cable was a little longer.
  26. hackboski's avatar
    Definitely recommend these.

Nice looking, good depth of sound, power through the USB cable too

Definitely worth a purchase, I’ve got these as my main speakers then use a headset for gaming
  27. omones's avatar
Are these on par with creative t100? Price wise it’s a huge difference
  28. designer_friend's avatar
I have the pro version of these and I find they are rubbish.
    Baldynapper75's avatar
Doesn’t that depend on expectations. They’re not going to earth shattering at this price but I have the V3’s and can’t complain although I appreciate the Pro’s are double the price and probably aren’t double the performance
  29. fibonaccideals's avatar
Any way to connect a DAC between these and a PC to improve sound quality for Tidal? :/
  30. Supergolo's avatar
love mine although i do find the right side speaker a bit louder than the left one when on default settings. had to shift the L R balance point
  31. Ewen_Bruce's avatar
I don't really understand the hype around these. They're just pretty bog standard, slightly tinny, desktop speakers with next to no bass. Is it just that most younger generations have never owned a decent set of speakers and are used to listening to phones and earphones?
    CommanderKeen's avatar
Any recommendations for alternatives? I get what you're saying
