    Local Lidl had four or five available for sale on the shelves of the middle aisle. Would totally have bought one if my 4200 wasn't still running fine.

    Great price. Just make sure you actually need one. If you'll be making Americano type drinks with this you'd be much better off getting something like a clever dripper and spending your money on a good grinder. If you need espresso/milk based drinks then this will be hard to beat at this price

    Great price. I don't have this but I have 2 Delonghi Bean to cup

    Both more than 6 years, still operates OK.

    Agreed. My Magnifica is a few years old and gets daily hammer and is still as reliable as day one. In that time, all I have had to do is one bit of maintenance (literally 5 mins) to re-grease the inner part of diffuser when it stopped making perfect pucks with the ground out beans.

    Yes, I've got this exact model. Bought it as a refurb, a couple.of years ago. Makes great coffee and imo it's the ideal model within the range. I prefer to have a manual milk frother (more control.and I enjoy the process 😁). The ones with auto milk frothers are much more high maintenance (milk container that needs to be kept clean). Hasn't missed a beat. My best kitchen appliance.

    Have this exact model. Had it for over 5 years. Still going strong. As long as you clean it when it asks you to, should last years.
    Although if I were to replace it would go for one with an automatic milk frother.

    Melita for a more current machine-not saying that’s a good thing or bad.., the delonghi looks like an older model- but users of this range usually get 7 years daily use at least..


    tough decision, that Beko deal a month or so ago has stuppled ANY chance of buying a 4th unit for coffee lol

    Bargain. Got the newer version, but dies exactly the same things. Dont waste your money in the auto frothers, as they are rubbish, and dont warm the milk enough. Would be all over this if my current one was on last legs

    Yup, link is dead now. There were a few in both Wallington and Hackbridge (London) locations yesterday when I passed through. Thought "Wow, that's a great deal!" and posted it. Sorry to see that despite what the original link said there's not a lot of them out there.
