    your shower head is only as powerful as your water pressure #gimmicksales

    Flow rate and bar pressure are different things. This may not (although it can if your existing head restricts flow) improve flow rate but it can give you a feeling of more power based on how the water is sprayed out and the pressure that it comes out at. Just like a pressure washer (edited)

    Anyone here tried this. I have an electric Mira shower and it was fitted by Linden homes/Bovis (so it was cheaply supplied, and badly fitted). The water comes out so slowly and the water just dribbles out if you want a nice hot shower, wondering if this might help.

    We have a header tank and quite low hot pressure got one of these heads and a small plugin device called the shower power booster and it works a treat.. The fine holes give the sensation of a rain shower.. Its not as good as say a salamander pump grohe shower but if that was 100% I'd say my new setup is 80% plus it saves water!

    Please. This just has an inflated RRP.

    If you want a good, but cheap shower head I can highly recommend this one. Made a ten-fold improvement in the flow rate and has 5 modes. (Oh and it's chrome.)

    It looks like metal chrome (i.e. over brass), but is only coated plastic. Looks a fair price tho'.

    Can't say anything about this one but if you want a shower head that 100% works to considerably boost the pressure of the water coming through, I highly recommend the one in the link below. I've had it for a few years now so tried and tested works great. Only one mode but that one mode works well. Also extremely light as it's made of plastic so can be held easily by elderly folk and those with poor dexterity. Was very happy with it so bought another one for my son.... amzn.eu/d/e8JzKCH

    We went from a Stuart Turner Power Shower to a combi boiler supplied shower (so water directly heated/no pump). It was miserable.

    As a result, I have literally bought/tested/thrown away more shower heads than you have had hot dinners..

    The best, which I still use to this day, if the one with a stainless steel shower plate. Exactly this one: aliexpress.com/ite…tml (but you can buy that same thing from multiple suppliers - don't pay more than £4 including delivery).

    Additionally, team that up with a WIDE BORE hose (as someone else recommended here). I use this: amazon.co.uk/gp/…1PY - but they haven't half whacked the price up recently..

    This. You have to do a bit of hunting as they’re not super easily available (I think it’s something to do with clamping down on wider-bore hoses to save water) - but find a hose with a wider hole made such an improvement to our shower.

    Is it just me or is the tube connection in that picture very thin or is there something I'm missing? I have a shower attached to my bath taps (purpose built shower, to use I pull up a stopper). I'm thinking the hose I have is too wide for the shower head they have here if it's not as cable thin as the one in the picture :/ Has anyone bought this and do you have any experience?
