Impact wrenches work with lots of relatively small taps which slowly loosens the fastening. You might need to keep it banging away for a minute or so but it will come.
It's not like say a screwdriver which works on torque alone.
Great tool. Had mine for a couple of years now.
If the bolts are really tight, it won't undo it.
It's ok but may need breaker bar to loosen tight bolts, have a torque wrench to tighten to correct torque, don't trust torque setting on this.
The main powered version is much more powerful.
Personally if I have a difficult nut I need to remove, I firstly resort to a breaker bar in the first instance as you can 'feel' the nut without rounding it. However, I've used this a few times for situations I needed an impact and it's been faultless. £70 with a battery and charger is pennies.
As you have said if trying to crack a wheel nut from a garage your literally trying to compete against an air powered tool for £70. Good luck with that! Worse part is every know-it-all on here recommending Dewalt when it costs double without a battery or charger.
And I think they have put the price up by 10 or 20 quid. (edited)

I'll stick to Einhell.
And don't forget the voucher.
