I might be wrong but....
Or just use the sd card on the camera for storage and a phone or tablet or pc.. but again ethernet for stability..

Guess they're clearing them out.
I got one and it come with mains cable, although a bit awkward to plug in outside due to an ethernet port and switch on the same cable.
Haven't got it working with home assistant yet, but works without a cave hub using (a questionable) third party app "cameye3"
to good to be true right ..??
They are functionally useless. That's why they're being tossed out at 12% of the listed price.
I started with these types of security cameras about 10 years ago. Frankly they are toys really. It's difficult to make out faces in the daylight and at night all you see are blurry white ghosts.
However, with a little imagination, I used one as a Bird Box camera for several years and it works great.
Hmm, it seems not after a bit of digging, looks lie it needs the hub.
I cant seem to find those old web-interface cams from yesteryear any more - they were rather good if you have a fixed IP. (edited)
I can do exactly what you state using the app recommended for my cameras (camhi) and pc based ispy... Pretty much all sd card based cameras allow real time monitoring and dozens of other features with their apps..
Might need a smart hub? It says ONVIF compatible though.
Suggests it may come with a PSU but doesn't specify
but again, my advice is that you can find better cameras than this for 1-10 quid more or even the same price in offers e.g. camhi, iegeek, zosi, septekon.. cameras with colour night vision, intruder lights, 2 way audio.. better looking cameras also...
Total waste of time. DO NOT BUY
RMA straight back to Jersey. If they make it difficult then it will become very public and very messy. I really dont like it when bad product is offloaded with such a bad faith loss leader. (edited)
