This gets a lot of hate because it's not Laphroaig 10 but it's perfectly drinkable and probably a good introduction to Laphroaig for those who haven't introduced their palates to big peaty whiskies yet

It gets a lot of hate because it's crap. Very poor offering from Laphroig.

The irony being, it doesn't taste of TCP enough!

Agreed. Tried it once - never again.
It's a pale imitation of the excellent other offerings from Laphroaig.

I love Laphroaig - However, I think the flavour profile has been toned down in recent years, particularly in this one.

What I want to know is, why are so many people drinking TCP? So many comments - tastes like TCP. Really? If you are drinking TCP, the flavour of Laphroaig is the least of your worries.

Not bad if you like peat but find the usual Laphroaig a bit too TCP like
