Are they ok for the gym?

I have worn these to the gym the last two and a half years, they're my headphones for throwing about. The side of the headband cracked recently when it's extended, but nothing superglue hasn't fixed for now. They sit not loose not tight on my head even with a cap on, but YMMV depending on head size/shape. They aren't tight enough to stay on properly when you're lying down, so something to keep in mind. I turn mine 90 degrees (headband on my hairline) when I'm benching and it doesn't cause issues. I've worn them on the treadmill once or twice and no issues there either, but they do need to have the headband extended less to stay snug.
If it's something you can deal with, they're a steal at this price. I paid 53 or so for them. (edited)

Excellent headphones and an absolute steal at this price. Anker refurbs always seem to be like new just in a plain box.

The Q35's that I bought via Anker Ebay as refurb looked like they were new and even came sealed in the box that looked like it hadn't even been opened.
