Distinct lack of photos of the villa interiors on that page (and indeed in the promo video). Also they look way too close to each other for a 5* villa experience, for me.

We stayed here for our honeymoon 6 years ago. The place was new at the time. It was an amazing place. We stayed in a water villa and spent most evening just looking out into the water. We had a sea turtle swim past one day and we could have got close enough to touch.

Pretty amazing price, when you consider the return flights alone are £725+.
The last I heard, the seaplane transfers are about us$500 per pax.
    So that's £(725+400)x2 = £2250
    So 7nts AI for 2 = £1140 = £81.50 pppn !!

NB: 🌦️ expect some rain, and some coral bleaching. 🪸

Indeed price is very good but….. when we have summer they have winter….. I have been to Maldives 3 times and anything between December - March is summer over there

Even April’s can get massively rainy….

    Lottery for June(confused)

The locals are forbidden to eat in the tourist restaurants ( if you care about that kind of stuff then there are other places)
    rudey_valentino's avatar
The place is geared towards tourists and they are not very inclusive with locals

I'm looking for Maldives for family of 4 and it just doesn't seem to ever be affordable. 2 adults 2 kids (14, 6)
    AncientYouth's avatar
its not really an affordable destination depending on what that means to you

the logistics alone are very expensive

however if you do go i would recommend Kuredu (edited)

Their sister island, You & Me have some great offers too for September with Voyage Privé. I did try and post it, but the moderators deleted it for some reason.

    Unfortunately I wouldn't get on that Seaplane - I'm very claustrophobic! 😩😩
    Markc5999's avatar
The seaplanes are awesome in the Maldives , just incredibly noisy. And no need to be claustrophobic in them , unlike other planes you can actually see out of the front of them while you fly. Yes a bit more enclosed then your normal airline but not cramped

If I didn't already have my summer holiday booked I would certainly book this. We are looking at the Maldives and Sri Lanka next year so let's hope there are some offers

For those for whom a trip to the Maldives would be a once in a lifetime experience I personally wouldn’t risk June (yes that may be only way some could afford it but if you aren’t getting the full Maldives experience why go?).

We stayed here in June 2017 and had great weather. It's luck of the draw but locals say the seasons aren't as settled as they use to be. Although the only all inclusive restaurant was buffet style, the food quality was very good
  13. Sideburnsam's avatar
Is there anything to do there? Shops? Excursions? As it looks quite boring and enclosed
    AncientYouth's avatar
LOL...its an island in the middle of the sea, some bigger islands have more facilities, buts its all about the getting away from it all experience, sea sun diving smorkelling etc, usually spas, and fitness centres and a touristy shop

excursions tend to be sea related, dolphin watching, fishing trips, snorkelling trips etc

you could go to Mount Everest but the transfer will take some time

    Loving the rainy season comments.

On every Maldives deal ever posted on HUKDs & whatever the time of year for the holiday, it is always in rainy season.

I am sure you will have a lovely holiday. Enjoy

Crocodiles season June. Also watch out for seasonal winter pirates disguised as innocent-looking killer sharks.
