Big fan of this, I use the original “switch” version. I bought the Xbox button layout and dropped them in. Almost 2 years later is still going like a charm, no issues with stick drift etc.

Great value for money, no complaints so far, I just wish this version was available at the time to save me having to do the button swap myself. (edited)

Great to hear that. I remember I bought one from them like 10 years ago. Not sure where it is now but I'm pretty sure it's still working.

I have one of these from AliExpress. Its pretty great. The charging stand is the best thing of the package and makes PC gaming really conveinent. Just pick up and play; with the built in dongle connected to PC via USB. Automatically connects and disconnects when on and off the dock. All the buttons are remappable with the software which you have to download from 8-Bitdo's website - which may look a little dodgy as it is an unsigned program on Windows.

The only negatives really is the triggers; which are very resistant in otherwise a brilliant piece of kit. If this were a controller made by Sony and Microsoft it would easily be £120 plus just for the controller alone. Well worth for the 30-odd pounds for this. (edited)

Can you set the back paddles to be any keyboard key? Or is it one of those controllers where the back paddles just duplicate the front buttons?

They can be set to any button on the controller (not including axis') including macro's. But cannot be set to anything outside the controller itself.

I'd like to know a Console compatibility list too please. I've tried googling, but can't see anything obvious on the spec sheets. Ideally, I'd like to use one of these with a Switch/XBox360/PS5. Is it one of those that's just plug in a play like that?

Had this for a year. Works excellent on Windows and Linux.

Purchased, heat added - 8bitdo released a firmware update that allows you to use it on the switch also, that was the deciding factor for me.
