sorted byFor one, I'd suggest., "Mechanical advantage". This is designed so that the average fit bloke can lift 5 ton with it. Which means that the average unfit one can lift something lighter without having a double hernia, three strokes and a major sense of humour failure. ie this is more suitable for a much, much larger section of the general public.
Another is that it is that much bigger and with a longer cylinder and screw jack. So for those with longer suspension travel, it can actually lift the wheel off the floor, rather than just soak up the travel.
Oh, someone needs to publish a book called, "A thousand and one things to do with a bottle jack". Like split logs, bend pipes. push kitchen cabinets back into place, take the load off a lintel, straighten pipes, lift one end of a piano....
Having said that this is a good price for 5t.
They seem to have been busy with CE, TUV and GS approval though .
