Nice price this for anyone looking to escape and go on holiday on a budget.
Bit of a workaround really, just booking a few things separately, accommodation and car hire prices are practically fixed - flights might vary by airport (not too much - so if you live in Birmingham, do that), but using Luton as an example.
You'd be staying at the 3* (rated 4 on Tripadvisor) Studio 17 Hotel, which has a local beach, bars and restaurants. Furthermore, parking is free (if you opt for car-hire)
Flights are with Ryanair (hand luggage, might be enough for 4nts) - however, for £30 more you could bring a suitcase - good flight times too in terms of maximising time in Algarve!
Lastly, car hire is booked via travelsupermarket.

sorted bythere is a £2100 deposit and a few hoops to jump through if you get so much as a scratch on the car. They don’t have a spare tyres and cost minimum of £500 for a tyre replacement for example. I needed a baby seat and child seat both of which were £58 each for the week, I was offered a £209 payment to absolve any hassles of scratches etc and the car seats were given to me for free with this ( I didn’t pre book, I just asked to get them free at the time if I took the thing)
the shuttle bus worked well for us as we only waited at the airport for 20 mins or so but there was another couple there waiting hours, don’t know why. It’s a 5/10 mins shuttle away and only has 6 seats so depending how many people are going you could be waiting a while.
There not the best cars, but do the job of getting from A to B. There is also toll roads that are automatically paid with a transmitter on the car that are then calculated 6 days after and billed to your credit car (another £150 deposit for this) I opted to avoid toll roads on google maps and it added 15 mins from Faro to Portomao.
They have to be making up for their losses somewhere on headline prices of £4 per day for car hire...
Its like the wild west in Spain and Portugal
Goldcar are the absolute worst. Scammers in disguise

And it was cheap too. 30 Euro including drinks for a family of 3 people. (edited)
