This looks like a total rip off of the £10 Phillips one, bargain if the same performance

I bought a Philips one and opened it up. Similar motor, almost identical switch. Plastic switch cover was different, plastic case is quite.different on the inside, but has identical battery tabs. Cutting blades were indistinguishable. Covers over the blades are different materials (Philips is softer and more flexible) the only significant difference I found was the Philips has push contact pair of switches which make contact when you screw a blade in and open when you unscrew the front. This would prevent a child putting their fingers between the blades and turning the unit on. (edited)

Picked up one of these today. Already tried it and it works a treat.

Bought one this afternoon. Very impressed with performance out of the box. I've had my previous one for a few years and its getting tired but this one looks to be a time saver as well.

Got mine yesterday, holy crap this thing is good. Pulled off so much from my sock. Recommended it to the family and they’re gonna pick some units up. Well worth the money when they give you batteries as well

People who brought the Philips ones for a £7.99 must be feeling gutted

Curious to know how good it is. I love my Philips one so much I'd buy this as a backup. (It's sure to wear out the amount I've been using it!)
