The Assist Crossbar Hybrid Electric Bike is a great choice for those looking to use an Electric bike for short commutes or leisure rides; with the 209Wh battery offering an average range 10-15 miles (max 20 miles)* from a single charge. This extra power is enough to guarantee effortless rides, taking the strain out of hills and making moving off from a standstill much easier. This model comes complete with a rear pannier rack - perfect to assist your luggage during those daily commutes.

The assist also features powerful V brakes to increase your stopping power and double wall rims to prevent punctures during day to day use. The Assist Crossbar also comes kitted with full front and rear mudguards. Rest assured, this model also comes with a 2-year warranty on all electrical components.

A reliable Samsung 209Wh / 8.7Ah battery with an average range 10-15 miles (max 20 miles) per charge, the Assist is a great entry level Electric Bike for those leisurely rides or small commutes.

All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).

    Shocking range. Basically only gives you an hour cycling.

    Try getting it on cycle2work scheme as it's Halfords.
    Can knock 30% off that price and it's 12mth interest free.

    Personally, I'd spend another couple of hundred quid and get a better equipped, more powerful bike (48v) with about three times the range. Won't be around for long!

    Thanks for the comments, i see its just a 24v and 8.7aH so not great on range or power, but for this price its a decent deal i think, my only issue would be front mounted motor, some say those aint the best....for sub £600 with a 2 year warranty, why not ;-)
