Amazon: "Upto 18x Speed than VDSL2"
DSL-ac88u "how........ i'm a vdsl2 modem router"
dsl-ac88u *confused*
I'm confused toooooooooo
1. Read this is not a Wifi 6 router - is it worth waiting for a 6 model to future proof the router?
2. Can this replace broadband router - i.e. replace Sky's router rather than put it into model mode?
3. Can this be used as part of a mesh wifi setup?
Thanks (edited)
Anyway, this has been out for years. You can save about £30 if you buy used if that doesn't bother you.
This has a Broadcom chipset so it should, in theory, be rock solid from as far as the modem is concerned, especially for long DSL connections. Supports G.fast too if you're in the approx. 5% with coverage. But this has pretty mixed reviews for stability and I have no idea if it's any better these days.
