Good price but you need to be careful of you have VDSL Internet, as this interferes with the signal, potentially distorting it and resulting in your internet dropping.

Yeah, powerline adapters knocked a third off my VDSL.

Just under 500mbit in the same room, under 200mbit over a bigger distance between floors.

He is using an extension lead with it - not recommend.. should be directly in the wall socket

I have devolo magic. I think it's these. They sorted out all my virgin internet problems. Much better than the tplink they replaced (edited)

Just get a TP Link router and a WiFi powerline adapter and create a OneMesh network. Will solve your issues if you're struggling to get internet 2 floors up.

    Not everything is compatible.

Just wonder if they sorted out updates for iOS. My old adapters became obsolete very quickly, suffered from random crashes. Frequency of resetting them became utter pain and forced me onto mesh solutions.

What ones are you talking about? Their older system didn't offer mesh. Their dlan 1200 and magic ranges are very stable. You'd need to switch off WPA3 as there are compatibility issues, but that's nothing to do with Devolo, just Apple and WPA3. (edited)
