Your not allowed this much egg or bacon. The BBC said so. It was deemed newsworthy for them to say only eat half an egg and bacon has nitrates so only have half of that too...I only pay half my TV licence now https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-46865204
Shame the coffee in our local one is always lukewarm at best! Still it's a good deal for £9.50 for 1 adult and 2 children to eat unlimited breakfast.
Sharing story of your life on a breakfast deal on hukd (lol) This place is sometimes better than Jeremy Kyle (embarrassed) So blackouts, seizures, memory issues, issues with multitasking are too much when it comes to cooking at home but not a problem for a 3hrs round bus trip and being out there? Right........ (lol) gotcha (lol) well wishing you all the best. And I'm not judging anyone 8)
Been using this deal for years. I was disappointed when the price went up from £8.99 a few years ago. I must have been to very different places to you all as I can only think of 2 places out of around 20 which have the poor standard of breakfast some of you are describing. At our local, the sausages are of a really high quality. Properly meaty and full of flavour. The fruit juices and smoothies are lush, thick and full of seeds and pulp. I always order poached eggs, daughter a bowl of porridge as we sit down. Then son fills up on anything he can put nutella on. Last time I went, there were 26 of us. None of the kids ran round. All filled up over a 2 hour stretch. Staff kept replenishing food so no food dried out under the hot plate. One guy had 5 bacon sandwiches as the bacon was 3mm thick and bread slightly warm. Granted, without the kids, it wouldn't be an option for breakfast to us as we prefer small cafes, but this is a great deal to fill you up until dinner.
There really are some absolute gems of human existence on this thread eh? "I don't like to eat in restaurants with kids" - you know what, you're not missed at all. We were all kids once and I can guarantee with an attitude like yours you weren't a wee angel. People with kids are entitled to live top, not just lock themselves away until their kids leave home, but I bet you're one of those numpties that sneer at any kid that dares utter a word at a restaurant or worse, cries! God forbid! Then theres the weird "single parents haven but too expensive and terrible food" - for single parents this is most likely one of the few treats their kids will get. If this is an option to some because it's only £3 a head for a parent and two kids then that's for a good a deal as you can get. When I was wee I'd have loved to be able to do something like this. Would I have minded that the food wasn't the highest quality or that the coffee isn't served by a barista? Em, no! Personally it doesn't matter much to me if I press the button on a coffee machine or someone else does, the same stuff still comes out. Rant over. As I said before it's great value if you have kids. Last time I looked there were a fair few people who did! If you don't then you've got plenty other choice, but that doesn't make this deal any worse! And how good is it that they count children as up to 16 too?
